The bottom tank can interfere with the pipe on TE/Xcw 250/300's. I called them because mine would not fit and BPD said cut off what's in the way. Apparently KTM rotated the motor 1* on the w models after these were in production. Only affects about 1 in 10 they said

I have the first gen on my 17 300XC that got tweaked a bit to the point where the shrouds won’t line up anymore. Called Bulletproof and he didn’t sound to interested in swapping them out for me. He suggested I tried bending them back. Not much of a “lifetime warranty” but it is what it is. Still good rad guards.

If you bought them from Slavens Racing, give us a call and we WILL get them warrantied because we stand behind what we sell. Other retailers, not so much.

Jeff Slavens Thanks, Jeff. Unfortunately, I bought them direct from Bulletproof. Next set I will purchase through you. Thanks for that reply.

Jeff, Great looking guards. However, back in New England we have tacky mud that would plug these up. Any suggestions? Thanks

Do the plastics fit okay with these?
I just finished installing a set of Enduro Engineering guards on my 2018 KTM 350 EXC-f and the plastics fit terrible and you have to use bungee cords to hold the front. They were a pain to install too. I want to get something that fits better.

That extra inch that sticks out could save the radiator in a tip over?

In your line of business, I can't imagine the ridiculous calls you probably get from people that have no business wrenching on bikes.

No doubt some guys should lock their tool box and throw away the key, but as long as they are nice, we always try our best to help them.

Jeff, These look like great guards, but back in New England we would pack them full of mud. Any suggestions? Typically our mud it thick and tacky. Sticks like a magnet. Really would impact the air flow. thanks
