1 tip that i learned as pos1 is to never give up no matter what. You scale and dictate the outcome of the game, this will help you raise your winrate ratio + developing your mentality. Hope it helps
Pos1 shouldn't cry in the early game just because it was a rough laning phase. Look for opportunities that will turn around the game like people with massive kill streaks (which is alot in this patch) or objectives in order to win games.
The tilting part of being position 1 is not to llose the early game but to lose the early game when you know it could have been won but the sup 5 decided to no contribute to the labs and go do some not efficient supporting in other place at min 3. So you start in disadvantage just because. Deffinitevely doable to come back but it requires a strong mind and to mite everyone xD
I played PA and got fed in the lane. I tried my best to farm jungle far away from enemy but they always smoke gank me. Good thing my wr is dominant and I just got carried until I got my items. I'm blaming myself but still trying hard to play the game as pos1. We manage to win
@3:00 I'd add that for super efficiency he should stack the camp he was at, shove lane then (because the fresh minute just started) farm backwards, this way the camp he "missed" would be there waiting for for him to farm in the next 1min period. This way, the guy who TPs to shove back the lane would have no jungle camps available after clearing the wave and would be relegated to farming the ancients area
Always prioritize lane creeps as they give way more gold in respect to the time it takes to farm. ANd you don't lose health comparing to tanking the jungle creeps. Only farm jungle creeps if being in lane is unsafe or if the lane creep is pushed too much to the enemy side (also because it is unsafe and that's when you do farming rotation between lane and jungle).
@@SimAviator you gain the most value out of maxing phantom rush first, as it greatly improves your farming speed. The PL in this video is wasting so much mana lancing and using doppelganger to move between camps that he doesn't have mana very quickly. Rush gives you an amazing agility bonus that also boosts your juxtapose illusions. Phantom rush is what allows PL to be a mad flash farming hero who can jungle at lvl 5 or so but 6 is more comfortable because of juxtapose. Skill build priority should be lvl 1 lance just to secure CS if need be, lvl 2 doppleganger to dodge stuff and stay alive, and phantom rush maxed out by 7. After that you wanna max doppleganger first because it makes it much harder for you to be ganked. Lance is maxed last.
Disagree on the DK, by showing on the wave at the same time the rest of his team is showing bottom, the enemy knows they're split and can force a 5 v 4 (which they do). You can see that even though DK takes T2 top, the gold lead shrinks from 3k to 1k. What would've been better is if DK mantas, pushes the wave with illusions, beelines it for mid and pushes that wave so he can connect to the fight if it breaks out, or starve out dire. Edit: Vindication! bsj does this exact move in virutally identical situations here: ruclips.net/video/QYssaSm-gKs/видео.htmlm44s
to all carry player and to all the support, don't give up even if the game isn't good for you. Tried to find a way to win the game, this ain't league where you can just surrender. Even if you ain't win, you are learning new things or doing something new you never done before. Keep learning be responsible, don't be man baby and cry or flame your teammate.
the way i taught myself to go to waves like that when my team is fighting or even just over jungle camps in general is im looking at it like these camps are always here... the creeps are not and are dying the longer i sit here. let me go get the gold im gona miss and come back to the gold i know is already secured later
To others, it good to incorporate this with your playstyle but this works from player to player so just because you see this player not doing it on pub to point to flame them. Let them cook. I'm Divine and when I queue up with my friend on archon other cores keep crying that they should do this and that and I noticed most of the things they are saying are from the youtube video. You know what else make you win more? TEAMWORK, criticize don't flame. What good is tilting your team? It will only make your team demoralized and ready to throw.
I feel like you should've pointed out that Lane creeps are almost always more gold and usually easier to kill than jungle creeps. Only ancients are better to farm than creep waves, but much more difficult to kill.
Can you do a video on itemization? Like when its actually worth getting a pipe rather than a mek/greaves, or when its ideal for a carry to get something unusual like Diffusal Gyro Sorry im bad at making these examples, I hope you get what I mean
yea bro, but as a suport, i tell them that, and all i get is, if i wanted and 1k mmr advice i wud ask u. Im gonna copy this video link, send them any time that happens from now on
I haven't play dota for like 5 year and im surprised people still do that mistake not pushing like dude the objective of this game is ancient why not pushing? Also good examples there both heroes does have innate ability to push tower it would be dumb to not pushing.
What to do when your "support" starts taking last hit? This happens to me very often, or when i play support, my carry leave a lane and just go and farm jungle, while their offlaner has a free farm, and i cant stop them from taking tower...
for me, pos 5 are meant to babysit lane until minute 8ish, unless you have a good pairing with your carry and can pressure the tower. If my carry decides to leave lane early (bad matchup etc) and if i have wave clear, i will try to defend until i don't feel safe ( 2 heroes missing is good sign to hide, and maybe tp away). After that i start joining to pressure offlane, or gank with my mid. Nothing much can be done with a griefing support. Save your energy and just report them. Normally you can last hit better than your supp. If not possible, i suggest start preparing for jungle immediately.
The one thing I tell carries when they are even on the enemy is push then jungle. If you can't push aka the enemy team is missing or actively hunting you, the other players including a freaking CM pos 5 will push. Yes I push lanes even as CM when I have the opportunity. Also it's so funny when we are stomping I pick the +200 AS talent and get a desolator and watch the buildings melt xD.
12 min... should have diffusal... as a pos 2 player, i hate when hard carry comes and takes mid camps... especially early.... like wtf.... no use in trying to explain to them why they are bad.
God forbid someone sees that they're farming inefficiently and wants to see their mistakes to improve. Guess they should all just give up and stay in the gutter, because there's just no point in improving your gameplay.

bruh my carry just give up and my other support flame the shit out of him. so many man baby man.

Thank you for emphasizing how carries can exert map pressure while farming!
Hey now, we can acknowledge that farming patterns are useful to us AND make fun of dumb carry players! Awesome content as always, Zach

Awesome video once again! Thanks for the great content, I always learn something new
Really tight breakdown of this specific strategy. Thanks for putting it together!
That PL's skill build is so painful to see.
I know right? There's an epidemic right now of PLs with skill builds from 2006, maxing lance
That's actually what Dota plus recommends lol. What would you suggest as an ideal skill build?

Great video. This all makes sense but I've never heard someone explain it so well.

Great video as always.
Lot of people missing out on more valuable tips during your streams.
Great video as always, can you make a video on how to farm as a midlaner?
had to link this to my carry friends. TY!

In SEA: "we don't do that here"
I'm curious about the mmr of these players
was be good if add subtitles, i understand autocreated but some words from ur talk are missing . anyway thx for remember simple but important thing
Is this colorblind mode?
you are cool mr. Zquixotix
Yes thank you more carry stuff

Wish most of my carries see this or else I'll let my support ass farm instead.

classic 2k gameplay
a noob question maybe but how to get that roshan timer icon near minimap? which addon is that?
Not 100% certain, but I think that is just from replays rather than something you can see while playing
You are right, the way pros track rs timer in-game is manual counting.
This pl is the typical pl's in sea where they afk farm for 40 mins and go solo 1 v 5 then dies and blames mid.
