Clemson has a key starter in Sr. DT in DeMonte Capeheart (315 lbs) coming back from injury. He's only had 20 snaps in the last 5 games total, but should be relatively healthy this week. Further, Clemson has moved to more of a 3 LB look over the last several games, primarily through the maturation of true Fr. ILB Sammy Brown. Through the first 7 games, including the Louisville loss, Brown had 144 snaps, 28 tackles, and 6.5 TFL. In the last 2 games alone, and coming against top-flight competition of South Carolina and SMU, Brown had 117 snaps, 24 tackles, and 4 TFL. That's in only 2 games. After two weeks off to rest, Clemson will show a run defense they haven't had at any other time this year.
You're wrong. Clemson was about to score 21 at the end but threw a bad pick. Clemson was obviously the better team. Clemsons D bullied SC all after noon. Sellers was the only reason SC won. He's hard to tackle
PFF relies heavily on stats, which I somewhat agree with but Clemson has changed their defensive scheme in the last few games. Their offense is different too. People will be surprised-they will play like the number one defense in the country against Texas. Clemson also has a tendency to score really, really fast. If they do the same thing against Texas, watch out!
Literally, everyone sees the issue except Steve Sarkisian who can actually do something about it. I love Sark, but there is a reason he hasn’t won the championship. With that said, appreciate everything the coaches have done and being loyal to the veteran QB. Winning isn’t everything. 🙂Hook’em.
Defensive line. Means nothing when QB throws ball over their heads. Brent Venebles never understood that. Quick throwing QB negates a defensive line., ask those who played against Tevor Lawrence.
when you talk about the lack of productivity in Clemson’s run game how in the world do you not talk about Mafah’s shoulder injury!!!! How do you not address the loss of their 2RB in the ACC championship??? C’mon guys do your homework!
Anyone who always look at the static of a team doesn't know what he or she are talking about. You has to look at who the team has played to get that static texas has beaten team but one with mores then 8 win TEXAS A&M
Did you watch all of the games? I did. Texas also dominated all those teams the way they should’ve especially defensively. That is the one thing that hasn’t changed regardless of who they played including Georgia is the play of the defense. The defense has been dominate all year, and the offense has been average to slightly above average. So the statistics do match.
Who do you think wins this game?

Shelton Lewis is back finally too
Sammy Brown is a budding superstar right before our eyes
The A&M statistic is kind of deceptive. Texas only scored 17 because their QB turned the ball over in the redzone on two fairly easy TD drives.
I don’t think yall have watched TJ Moore or Wesco or Williams?? They are awesome WR and getting better every day
I think texas wins 31-13 ... i just dont see clemson scoring any more than they did against SCAR in a home game..

Nice analysis guys!
Thank you!

Ewers was their highest graded player on O against UGA 😂 but sure
Yeah, that must mean Quinn lit it up, right? 😂 I recognize that the team has to run better. No doubt about it.

FYI these two picked SMU against Clemson
you act like that was a bad pick lol didn’t clemson have to kick a GW FG? very close game.

Duh, right?
Yep! And the OL rotation isn't a tradition. Its a necessity when you lose 9 different OL to injury.
Keep talking about QBs ? Because there is a problem with both.
Ain’t even gonna be close…
You're a fool
Go tigers 💪🎉🎉
Both QBs and lose, you'll get new coaches , and in an hurry. The alumni and students will detest them. Coaches or Athletic Director get gone.

You just argued against statistics by using a statistic
And who did Clemson beat in the “Always crying conference”?
@@Youdontknowme8888could say the same thing about Texas 😂
