    About Below Deck Mediterranean:
The azure waters and ancient ruins of Athens, Greece set the scene as Capt. Sandy returns to steer her team through a season brimming with fresh and formidable challenges. Between eccentric guests, an abundance of late-night demands that require intervention and a never-before-seen mechanical issue that orders all hands on deck, the crew faces tumultuous waves from the start.
Back on board the 180-foot M/Y Mustique, a series of initial hurdles sets the crew off on the wrong foot. Amidst a saga of delayed provisions, managing a complicated interior department and a medical emergency, Aesha strives to ensure the guests are treated to a five-star service experience. Chef Jono, a self-taught culinary architect, quickly learns he has high expectations to fill to prove his culinary capabilities to the guests. Meanwhile, the deck crew faces its own hurdles and must learn that communication is key in order to successfully get through the season.
This season’s boatmances stir up waves of tension as two crewmates find themselves with their sights set on a mutual love interest causing disruptions among departments. A personal relationship also tests a deckhand’s budding romance, leading them to make a tough decision.
Finally, to round out the season, Capt. Sandy orchestrates the surprise of a lifetime for her partner, Leah, that leaves everyone in tears.

Always anticipate what the guest will want, they are young, of course they are going to stay up late and want a midnight snack. But the guests said they wanted late-night snacks. The chef was responsible to make that food, whether ahead of time or when it is requested. Chefs have gotten up before to make food. The guests pay a lot of money, and they deserve chef-prepared food, regardless of the time.

There is NO REASON why the stew couldn't put some cheese between some breads slices on a big hot grill part of the stove all at one time and microwaves tortilla chips with cheese on it. She even got rude with the guests and decided she wanted to go back down to the chef because she wanted to take her anger out on him and make him get up. She took over 45 min to make simple drinks, and didn't even know how to make a simple mojito, and the guests had to basically make EVERYTHING themselves even the food and drinks, yet she was the main one talking down on the other stew 24/7 because she had "more knowledge". It's not like they asked for risotto. She was annoyed and wanted to make the chef annoyed too. I've seen considerate stews on this show who know the chef is spent and make the food on their own even if it's not perfect they have refused to wake them up. Her FIRST resort was to immediately wake him up without even trying first. If anything, she could've woken up one of the stews to help her, not the person who has to cook all day for the boat crew AND guests with the worst provision company on the planet. I'm glad he stood his ground.

@@mariat6171 Those drinks are not complicated. She simply didn't know how to make them and had to Google the recipe when a good stew knows a simple mojito by heart. She's the same one that INSISTED to be on service because she was so advanced and knowledgable. She took over 45+ min to make the drinks and seeing this clip she never even came close to finishing because the guests made the drinks themselves AND the food. That's incompetence ALSO a liability because the guests could've hurt themselves being drunk in the kitchen.

Just started watching this show. Whether on land or sea, drinking always leads to hunger during wee hours into morn. If a restaurant, bar, or diner can throw together a quick meal for 2 am drunks, the charter guests paying this astronomical fee for a charte, they should be provided with late night snacks, especially since they requested it prior to the launch. Prima dona Cook should have gotten up and made the snacks he was responsible for in the first place. Maybe he will be prepared for the next time a charter requests the same thing.

Whoever is responsible for the food and provisions should include snacks minimally non-perishables on the order. Even if it's not requested, it doesn't mean it won't be wanted later, especially with a young group of guests. Also, as mentioned in another comment, it should be discussed during the meeting of the department heads and the captain. Sometimes the things you don't consider are things you need to and will have your clients consider giving you a bigger tip.
