Like, Waiting on Stevie, Upper Hand and Wreckage are scary good, didn’t see that quality coming. I have checked out on PJ over the years but they have no business making stuff as good as this album at this point. I wasn’t expecting anything much as their last four have been middling as they became a primarily live act.

DH, I've been having one of those monumentally bad health days, and it was just by the skin of my teeth that i wa able to get to youtube to watch today's stuff, and this completely caught me off-guard, and turned my luck around for the day (the week?) -- here's hoping! (I dunno what's been getting through, comment-wise) I've been denied for palliative care, and with it, at-home pain management, which is absolutely undeniably needed. I had a hospice/palliative company exec say, over an unmuted mic, that my disease "wasn't as sexy as cancer" so I was getting denied. In addition to that, my mom had a stroke the other week, we've had to switch to 24/7 caretakers at our expense (which we cannot afford in the LEAST) and every day has been worse than the previous, it feels like. WTL's on hiatus for now with sporadic things, but that's about it.
I actually was really close minded when the album came out. It was too happy and uplifting.I wanted a more melancholy heavy rocker at the time. Once I got passed that foolishness, I found this album to be their best post millennial album after avocado (and I rate that album 2nd to ten) very well produced to be frank - I love it 9/10
Honestly the opening track of Dark Matter, Scared of Fear, is a better opening song than this. But I do like this. Definitely in above average territory.

It's a so -so song to me, decent opening track for the album but nothing special.
