That is really a neat figure and color scheme! I think of all the Star Wars miniatures around this one is the most realistic as it has the color scheme that blends with the base terrain. Thanks for sharing this.
It's a great demo how painting a mini with similar but different colours, with the right shading we can see how the various materials are made, look how different seems the cloth from the armour. These 3D prints are really awesome, one can build every kind of mini
If you can get it then AK Interactive's big tubs of "Terrain Wet Ground" diorama goop are amazing for getting quick mud bases, fairly cheap per ML as well. Started a Space Marine army that I wanted to be in a muddy field and it works wonders. With that and a tuft or two and it looks like I have actual basing skills :p
Really loved this design in Solo, and I was jazzed when I saw these sculpts. Any of their figures are as good as the official minis. Awesome paint job, I may have to do a squad of these blokes
Awesome vids thanks a bunch they Inspire greatly. Question do you think gloss modge podge might be a cheaper alternative to using the varnish for the pedals.
Hello! I know its gonna sound weird, but at 13:55 in this video: ruclips.net/video/VeMMwDndm3k/видео.html (the ''Painting Napoleonic Austrian Infantry'') what colors did you use to paint that base? Btw love your work!
I really wish the stormtroopers looked more like this than that white armor nonsense. That’s fine for parade, but they should look like this fellow in combat. Plus, the field gray look fits an army of Nazi-esque baddies very well.
Outstanding work. Subscribed. Please consider making a painting tutorial for the Mimban Stormtroopers to accompany the Mudskulls!
That is a super-matt varnish. What a great looking mini; with a really atmospheric paint job.
It's really good stuff! Instar does great acrylics if you don't mind the shipping wait, too.
Thank you , Troy .
🐺
That's a really nifty way of painting puddles, it seems quite easy for a pretty striking result!
this was literally perfect for my new astra militarum army :D
Beautiful work. Looks like a Storm Mucker, not at all like a Storm Trooper. Thanks for sharing. 😎🇨🇦

I loved this video. Huge Star Wars fan and of your painting tutorials which have helped and inspired me over the years. Thanks man. MTFBWY. Always.
Don't really know why the Empire gives them these striking red stripes, but the mini looks very cool...
Thanks i was looking for a something like this for my cadians!
Ooh. This'll definitely work for messy Guard!

Thank you sir I’m new to painting and needed help picking out the colors for these troops in particular before I bought them👌🏻👌🏻
Wow. That looks great! I've never heard of Mudskulls before.
I thought they were just imperial army troopers until I saw that

The Empire's version of 40K Guardsmen
I think "scunge" might be my new favorite word now
Ohhh I love this !!
Nothing like a bit of muck and mud! :D
Sugestion: could you paint a miniature with a bow and arrows? I went through your videos and i could not seem to find one. Love the videos keep it up👌

I couldn't tell you if it's any cheaper, but anything glossy for the muck and puddles should work just fine.
p sure that's the imperial army trooper uniform to clarify but I could be wrong

Off the top of my head, it was probably Flat Brown, drybrushed Brown Sand and then Dark Sand.

ive been meaning to ask, mr painting man, do you use a phone stand to be able to capture your painting the way you do?
