HELLO and welcome to this video! What do you guys think about our ~aesthetic sandwiches~? While the whipped cream sandos were pretty, the egg salad one might have been my favorite - the chives were a complete X-factor (although I still maintain that some celery could have taken the sandwich to the next level). So I think it’s fair to say that, like Saf… I like eggs. PS - we had some technical difficulties with our audio during the second sandwich. It ended up sounding a little tin-y, so if you notice it, it’s not just you! Sorry about that!

I wish she had a mic/better mic so I could hear her better, but she 100% is part of every single video and should be included. She also usually pretests these experiments so it’s good to have her input 😆
I was almost worried that you were overwhipping that cream until it was sweet butter. FYI if you want that true Sando Whipped Cream, use powdered sugar (which has corn starch) instead of granulated sugar for something with their level of "mortar" consistency. If you don't care as much about flavor & want it lily white, stop there but if you want delicious whipped cream add a tiny bit of vanilla.
I was thinking the same thing lol. I add a bit of coconut extract sometimes since its clear so you can still get the very white color ^_^ and its still delicious

@@meghanwilson2569 They marked the plastic wrap before they put it in the fridge, so they knew which way it was when they came out. Then they noted which way it was, and made sure not to rotate it once they took it off. So, they knew which way it was, because they didn't change the orientation.

One thing I love about Saf and Tyler's relationship? They maintain a balance of teasing and cuteness, and they each get their own screen time. They aren't portrayed as a model couple, or one with one person on a pedestal while the other is just the camera person. They're a normal couple trying out things together. Love it!
These two have eaten so many weird things, they deserve bread, whipped cream and strawberries, which is like the delicious epitome of food combinations.
egg salad pro tip from my grandma: remove the yolk from your hard boiled egg & mix the yolks with the mayo and seasoning, then chop up your egg whites and add them back into the yolk mixture for the perfect texture
These videos feel like a condensed version of your former live streams and while I miss the livestreams, you guys seem more relaxed in videos! Love it!

tip for peeling kiwis, use a spoon next time :) put the spoon in between the skin and flesh and then just spin the spoon until you've made it all the way around the kiwi

I make these all the time. They're really good when you have guests. They make people think I am actually interesting and conceal the defects of my personality with whipped cream and milk bread 🎉

A sprinkle of paprika for some heat, if you want to be fancy add olives or diced pickles Egg salad can be so versatile, but you’re right, i’ve never seen it with sugar

The “wings” on the juicy juice were actually so kids can hold their drink without squeezing it and shooting it everywhere, I learned that just recently!
In defence of Tyler's juice wings, back at my primary school kids used to think you could change the flavour of the milk by pressing different colours on the carton's illustrations. If you touched a brown part of the carton then it would turn the milk chocolate. If you touched a pink or red part of the illustration it would turn it strawberry. You know, I think placebo really convinced us kids back then that it was actually working.
For the egg Sandwich it would also be cute to add like a thin trimmed later of green lettuce on the bottom! It would look like a landscape omg! I need lettuce with my egg sandwichs lol

The sandwiches are looking good! I suggest using piping bags when putting the whipped cream so that it would be a lot easier to spread and it's less messy 😀😀

If you're making these again, here's a tip for peeling your kiwi that will let you keep more of the fruit before slicing. Cut the top off the kiwi, then get a teaspoon. Run the teaspoon around the top of the kiwi, between where the fruit meets the peel. Then keep moving the spoon down, turning the kiwi until it's all peeled. You can also use this method to more easily peel eggs.

The one egg food I miss are these sandwiches. I used to get egg salad sandwiches at my favorite Chinese bakery and they were so good. The Kewpie mayo has a higher content of egg yolk, which is what makes it richer and better.

I'm curious if that bread uses the technique "tangzhong?" I don't actually know the definition, but you cook a little water, milk, and flour together, then add it to your bread dough. I've used it to make cinnamon rolls and dinner rolls and they've both been so fluffy and delicious!

I'm curious if that bread uses the technique "tangzhong?" I don't actually know the definition, but you cook a little water, milk, and flour together, then add it to your bread dough. I've used it to make cinnamon rolls and dinner rolls and they've both been so fluffy and delicious!

fun tip, you can use one of those hard boiled egg slicers to slice strawberries! it does wear on the wire blades but it's so perfect for strawberry shortcake
