I’ve been a member for 2 years now and love the course. Always in great condition, very friendly and professionally run. The food is fantastic too. When the wind blows it’s a challenge and a half. Love it love it love it. Thanks for filming it. 👍🏻
Great film Andy. I've played Craigielaw on several occasions with Mark and have always enjoyed it thoroughly - even when having to pay out at the end of my round to Director of Golf, Jonathan (Porteous). You will have found (as I have) that the clubhouse facilities and restaurant menu are first class and the club steward/catering/bar manager, John and his staff do a magnificent job in creating an ambience which is relaxed yet extremely professional. I can't wait to visit again.
Great video as usual Andy. Glad u enjoyed Craigielaw. Crazy story to tell here - in September 2017 I was at a fundraising night near my house in Edinburgh. A 4ball for Craigielaw has been donated and lots of people were asking where it was. To be fair 99% of audience were clearly non golfers. I told compère to explain it was just down the road Aberlady only 30 minutes in the car. You could hear the rumblings of disinterest in the audience. I stuck my hand up with a starting bit of £20. There were no more bids...
The Average Golfer Andy - and for the icing on the cake, I managed to get my club Musselburgh to donate a 4ball which was auctioned at the same fundraising night. It went for well over £100.
Agree Andy, every time I play the course it's hard to believe they only built a golf course there 20 years ago . At least the sand wedge got a good workout. Oh and Eric the poet is a legend.
What I love about this course is how well it fits within the surrounding landscape. If I didn't know any better I'd thought it had been there over 100 years.
Roll on ayrshire Andy lots of cracking courses ahead for you your getting closer to Dumfries so southerness gc awaits you mate enjoy the views and hopefully you get good weather as well🤩
Forth of Firth lol.. Easy mistake mate. I remember the classified football results were read once, East Fife four Forfar five.. Hahah. Anyway, nice vid Andy. Beautiful looking course which I've never played & yet it's only 25 minutes from where I live.
Nice to have a post that tells you about a club without the typical worthless banter. Really enjoyed it. I'll meet you at Cruden in July if the Good Lord willing. We'll talk about the challenges of planning a trip during Covid and the anticipation.
Loving this mini series and the introductions especially 💪💪💪👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂 Love Links golf - a thinking persons golf - challenging and diverse🙂🙂🙂 Only downside most Links are dear green fees!!!👎👎👎
I'm looking at the way you play these Scottish courses, and I have a question to ask. Are you really an average golfer nowadays, Andy? I"m guessing you're well inside single figures and fair play to you if you are. Also I'm really enjoying the higher production standards we're seeing this year. Top marks.
I have been a single figure golfer for many years, I rarely score or play in comps nowadays. The channel title is reflective of the challenge we all face as average golfers as oppose to hcp. Really pleased you have noted and liking the extra effort gone into the production this year, thank you
What happened to the normally nice music you put under your videos 🧐 this music is terrible 🙉 OMG 😮 what have you done? Nice course though 👍🏼 and nice music at the end of the video.

Great again Andy. Few capture the essence of links golf like you do. A joy to watch we can all relate to. Thanks again
Lovely video. Opening poetry was brilliant.
What a tough, tough course with the wind, bunkers, and crazy knobby greens. Looks like a real challenge.

Love it. Looking forward to the up coming videos. Going to plan a Bucket list trip to Scotland 2022 for my 40th 🤞
Great poem in the beginning of this video
Eric has opened each of the three videos from East Lothian and together they make the full poem
Opening words we're perfect in this one. Very powerful message, enjoy it while you still can!
Really enjoyed the course vlog. Like the music choices too!
Apart from it being the FIRTH OF FORTH, great video Andy from a great track only 25 minutes from me. Really enjoyed this series. 👍
I’ve renamed it 😂
Played North Berwick last October. Had no idea that there were so many great golf course around me. Thanks for the education!
Mike Hobson I am so glad the videos have done that
Fantastic views and photography. Played most of the adjacent courses but never this one but your video has certainly wetted the appetite
Pleased it has achieved our aim 👍
Great video as usual Andy. Glad u enjoyed Craigielaw.

That’s incredible Joe and you got yourself one bargain!!

Cracking series of course vlogs Andy. Thanks for sharing with us - I’m already looking forward to the next 👍🏻
It was one of our courses booked for this years trip away until Covid hit. They kindly let us defer until next year.
Great putt from the top of that green to go along with a great video.

Never used that club so much!!! Eric’s poetry was a great addition to the series
According to the book True Links, this is one of about 250 links courses in the world. Might play it if I get to Scotland!
Great video. Played the course 2 days ago. Really enjoyed it even with some brutal winds !!
Nice 6 hole par 3 course as well
It can be brutal and so exposed, the practice facilities are top draw Ste
Andy grand video. Enjoyed it very much
Great series - I look forward to playing these courses
Brian Treadwell look forward to the trip

Love the Seve sweater ⛳️👌
Another Gem Andy, keep em coming Lad.
Cheers Andy, as long as you keep watching

The journey continues and hopefully arrives at Southerness!
Love your course vlogs!
Just been up at Craigelaw today! Superb course & facilities all for £59 p/rnd. Also got a wee little par 3 course which is fun! 👍
Great value for the quality it offers Paul, glad you enjoyed 👍
Great Poem, Correct - Golf at our level is to be enjoyed.
Cracking putt , course looked in superb condition
Course was excellent and yes a cheeky 25’
Just booked Craigelaw for next year. Nice looking course. Cant wait.
Class Andy
Super, tyvm.
Great video again Andy keep up the good work
Nice one Luke
Playing it next week along with Dunbar Guillaine 2 and Longnidry - watching videos on all of them - so far Dunbar looks superb
You appear to be the master of the pot bunker!
How do you like that Aerotech shaft?
Another beautiful course. Now, as for the poem: I didn’t understand a dog gone word that feller said. 😂
Oh yeah! Great English, 'dog gone' (where?), feller (a tree cutter perhaps?)
@@jiml9062: Sensitive?

Yes and that’s without a drink!! Hope you get over and play it John, great value
old school Seve jumper is class
My favourite 👍
How much do these courses cost to play?
Nice to have a post that tells you about a club without the typical worthless banter. Really enjoyed it. I'll meet you at Cruden in July if the Good Lord willing. We'll talk about the challenges of planning a trip during Covid and the anticipation.
90 yards into a stiff wind - as any good links player knows that is a 5i bump and run!
Justin Stephenson straight forward up and down 😂
What is it about this course that does not qualify it as a "links" course? I continue to enjoy this series. Thanks for bringing it to us.
It's not technically right on the coast line but I'd call it a links course. (former member)
I’m planning a trip to this area in may and need to decide between this course and kilspindie? What would you recommend? Thanks, great video
Andy I’ve been looking for the classic Seve Slazenger sweater for years!!!! Where have you found that please....🤞🏽
They are still being made by Slazenger heritage in Spain, I am running a comp to win one soon
The Average Golfer can you make sure I win then 😂
Matt Leader do my best 😂
Loving this mini series and the introductions especially 💪💪💪👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂 Love Links golf - a thinking persons golf - challenging and diverse🙂🙂🙂
Only downside most Links are dear green fees!!!👎👎👎
Your view is of Fife home of St Andrews
I stood on the first tee at Lundin Links and had the view from the other side 👍

Magic videos mate
Superb 👍😎🏌️♂️
Cheers Scott
It's The Firth of Forth, these things really should be correct if going to be included?
Really Lucy?
Think that sort of slip is really funny and makes it human.
It's not an academic thesis, it's a golf video on RUclips.
It’s not the shots you take it’s the friends you make 🙂🙂
Beautiful, hate the loud music though.
Will take the beautiful Larry 👍
The Forth of Firth!!!!!
Exactly Tom...
Pretty nice course. Prefer Kilspindie next door.
2:06 All that beauty and someone has the cheek to leave a tin can on the wall. LITTERBUG!
I did spot that!
The music is not great and you need to find a camera man that can hold it steady.
Do you need us to set up a go fund me page to get you some bail money Andy.
I need subtitles
What happened to the normally nice music you put under your videos 🧐 this music is terrible 🙉 OMG 😮 what have you done? Nice course though 👍🏼 and nice music at the end of the video.
Haha at least you liked the course 👍
