The intro and then the music with the scene looking out the window!! Could be Hollywood it’s amazing - so professional - so brilliant 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 the course looks lovely and your host was a true gentleman - another GREAT video
The volume of words needed to describe such a setting is not possible. Only by seeing it can one even come close to truly encapsulating such venues. Thank you for taking me....nay....us on such a ride....
Another great course. I loved the old holes within the stone wall boundary and there were a few slightly ordinary holes in the new section but a great test, non the less. The 16th is a fearsome drive - sooo tight!
Great video! Played it last year and I must admit it is one of my favourite courses in Scotland. This is the first video I watch on your channel but surely not the last!
Another top class film Andy. Reading the comments from other viewers indicates that you are getting the balance right between golf course review and strategy as well as any interesting history associated with the location .
Another great video Andy! I think this series of golf courses you have featured from the Welsh courses to the Scottish ones have been my favourite across all RUclips channels. Thank you and keep them coming
Great video as always. The footage is fantastic. First rate. You're quickly becoming my favorite vlog to watch. One of the things I love about golf is the history of our great game and you showcase that in these great courses that you play. I appreciate you making and sharing your videos.
A great Course and video Andy (as Always) and it was really interesting to the member there playing as well to give you/us all the historical information. Really enjoyable, well done!
Hello Andy I have been working my way through some of your videos and thoroughly enjoy them so far it’s nice to see you have played my favourite to course the Ailsa and st Nicholas in prestwick were I have been a member for 21 years keep up the great reviews cheers jj
Yet again another wonderful video accompanied by chilled music . The one thing I’ve noticed Andy , this whole Scottish series of vlogs you seem so happy , I envy you .. one day I would love to follow in your footsteps or even join you on another trip to Scotland.. 😉🏌️♂️⛳️🍻
I am just making a short video about how changing the content I make has made me happier Nigel, so yes your right I am. I have also considered the idea of hosting small groups on a future trip
Andy...I am traveling in May from the USA for a 10-day golf vacation in southern Scotland and Northern Wales and the first thing I did was to visit your vlogs to consider my options. Honestly, as much as playing the "big ones" would be nice, I am content playing the lesser-known courses. Thanks for your work on this...Priority #1 is Conwy...I will be playing with you in mind...
Hi Andy, I was lucky enough to win the Arrol Cup at Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club in 1972 and 1973 shooting 71, 65 = 136 in 1972 and 67, 67 = 134 in 1973. I'm sorry I wasn't able to play in your Average Golfer competition this year due to holiday commitments - I really enjoyed playing in it last year. David Little
@@TheAverageGolfer Thanks Andy. I look forward to next year's Average Golfer competition and yes I'm really proud of my consecutive wins at Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club. Keep the videos coming!! David
Andy, Yep, played there a few times (Had a chum who was a member). Super course and a friendly membership Good nosebag as well, I recall. Played it at the crack of dawn one day and then flew over to Machrihanish for lunch and a round in the afternoon... as you do... Those were the days! You should really try Machrihanish - the 1st would be interesting given your shot shape.
Great video Andy. I remember playing the 18th and chose a rescue club, ( always better to top it, than shank into the car park). Kilmarnock Barassie is well worth a visit whilst your up there.
Normally its a big bail out on the 17th for me Andy. Another cracking insight into Scottish Links golf and great to see you over the best side of the country :) !
I was going to play here when I was working up there. I read the guide on their website and it basically said if you're a bit wild, you're gonna have a bad day! 🤣🤣🤣 Stunning though
Scene of my greatest ever victory was st nicks,my big mate and I played two 3 handicappers in the Ayrshire fourball, when had won the winter league to qualify for the fourball and got drawn away to st nicks,we were 3 down with 6 to play and won 5 in a row,the climax was my 8 ft birdie putt at 17👌🏻class course by the way 👍🏻
Andy your videos are class! I Look forward to them.... Please when you do reviews lou is a great partner for you and he is a similar golfer to myself🤷🏻♂️
Played this one many decades ago. An excellent course however being a high handicap golfer (18) even thinking about holes 17 and 18 still brings me out in a cold sweat.
Ayrshire is a fantastic coastline and an abundance of golf courses to choose from. I think it is hard to pick favourites as they all have appeal fro different reasons
How in the world do you not have more subscribers??? How??? Happy I get to relax for a few minutes and watch your work. So good!
I wished I did but happy with what I have, I am glad you enjoy

Another great video again Andy. The last hole reminds me of the last at North Berwick with the cars sitting on the right awaiting a slice from the tee.
The cars are a lot closer to be honest! but yes its similar.....At NB I generally aim for the pro shop!
The Average Golfer Perfect line for your power fade👍🏴.
