The Glen is a great holiday course - it’s not the toughest once you get up on the cliffs but it’s hugely enjoyable and in great condition. Some really interesting holes and amazing, amazing views. Another great video.
And just round the corner was Whitekirk. Every hole was great and the pro, s struggled to par it. A match for any of them and better all round scenery. Coast, Dunbar, Berwick law, country, farm, villages and the salmon coloured roofs. And in winter the sun shone on you. Amazing golf experience!! The proper price and not the grossly overpriced of the rest of them. Stole through fraud by 3 devious rats and now a caravan park. Your vlogs are great viewing & 10/10. Cheers.
Greetings from downunder in Melbourne Andy, another week in lockdown here no golf allowed and we are all getting sick of it and a bit stressed, what a relaxing stress relief you have supplied with this series of golf adventures, I have a glass of my favourite red and a couple of your recent videos to escape to wow thanks so much for your time Happy Golfing cheers Aussie Dave
I played the Glen in 2016 in their Senior Open. Great value, views, course and very friendly. Your greta quality video brought the happy memories flooding back. Thanks
My wife and daughter visited Scotland last summer and absolutely loved the country, culture, and its people. I really want to experience the same and play one or two of the courses. By the way, we live in Scottsdale, Arizona USA. Thank you.
I've seen the course, been to the castle and played at Gullane but always wanted to play The Glen and North Berwick. Hopefully, I will get there again.
Scotland is on our travel list when the world reopens Andy. As I’m from Australia I’m really enjoying this style of video showing great areas of Scotland which contrasts so much with our scenery. 👍🏻
This brings some wonderful memories... I played the Glen at sunset and what fantastic views you get there! Very nice golf, too. You've filmed that beautifully! Thanks Andy!
Great course. Got a hole in one on the 13th. Obviously didn’t see it go in as it’s a blind shot but I’m convinced some kids picked it up and dropped it in the hole to record me celebrating like a loon!!!
I’ve been lucky enough to play Muirfield, North Berwick and The Glen and I have to agree that the latter is the the best value with very friendly staff and members. What a Great part of the world. One other little treat is Dunbar GC a fabulous course which is few miles down the road from The Glen. Nice vlog mate 👍
The Glen was the first course I played in East Lothian 10 years ago Andy. Booked the West Course, birthday treat for the Monday. Early Sunday morning set off from York to the Glen, where the wife and I had breakfast before I teed it up there. Wind was stronger, my poor wife was my caddie. My 4 iron to the 13th just made the front of the green into that wind. Fantastic place, agree with you 100 %. Great vlog again, you capture the soul of golf so well. Well done Andy 👏👏👏
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again , Andy these vlogs are awesome ... the spoken word, the music , the scenery all absolutely beautiful.. thank you 😉🏌️♂️⛳️🍻
I rarely comment on youtube. I just commented on another video saying you had gained a subscriber. Now i find this video!!! Gives me goosebumps. Little backstory. I'm from Austin, TX. I'm married to a perfect lady from Scotland. I've been lucky enough to go and visit family in scotland on multiple trips. This course is always my 1st or second that I play EVERY TIME i am there. It was my very first round that I played straight off the plane when I flew over to suprise my then girlfriend. Same trip when I proposed. I can still see so many of the holes in my mind. I can't wait to binge this whole series. One of my favorite things to do when I go to scotland is to sign up for some of the loacl tourneys. It is a fantastic way to play some outstanding courses for pennys on the dollar. I played Machrihanish for 30 pounds a few years back. Some with royal aberdeen and some smaller known courses. Please do more and more of these under appreciated gems. Another of my favorites is Braid Hills in Edinburgh. Great track, good value and you can't beat the scenery overlooking Edinburgh from a hill top. Keep up the great work.
Great! Now I'm incredibly jealous. I've got the itch to play in Scotland again. I've been to North Berwick a couple of times and played the more well-known course on the West side of town, but like you I've never played The Glen. In a strange coincidence, the fellow who fit me for my new golf clubs this Spring lived in North Berwick when he was young and his father was a member and won the Club Championship twice at The Glen. I'll be playing The Glen on my next trip to Scotland in honour of my fitter, but doubly so now after your video. Also here is hoping that Kilspindie is also on Scotland's Less Obvious.
The only thing I dislike about the videos in this series is that they end much too soon. I enjoyed Malcolm's comments about the area, and the course. One question Andy, how could you concentrate on golf with those views. Can't wait for the next one.
It's the kind of course Andy that makes playing golf enjoyable. Every time I pull into the car park can't wait to play it, also one of the cheapest in the area , it's a must play if your visiting the east coast .
Andy, Your production quality is really starting to go off the charts. For those of us on different continents than yourself, you are really giving us a true feel for what it’s like to be there on the ground. Thank you for the inclusion of the local color, the hotel, the pub, etc. as I feel that those aspects are inseparable with the golf.
The Average Golfer It’s not just the golf courses that bring you to East Lothian, towns like Gullane,Dunbar,North Berwick and Aberlady are fantastic places in their own right.I can understand what brings you back again and again.
Excellent work! Love this video. Do more of these! As someone who dreams to make it to that destination one day, these videos are a tremendous help. Cheers mate.
The Haggis, Neeps and Tatties tower in the Clubhouse along with a pint of Belhaven is close to heaven - as is that 13th - into a 30mph wind, a full, smooth and sweet 4 wood no less and just on the green, short of the hole but a par......who would imagine a 4 wood for 130 yards!
What a beautiful course. However, the jackets really throw me off since it's 98 degrees (36.6C) in Louisiana. We won't need a jacket for golf until sometimes in November if we are lucky.
Going back to the start of your series Andy, and I can honestly say that this video is a thing of beauty. The soundtrack that you picked fitted the backdrop perfectly.
These videos are fabulous, always wanted to play the East Lothian coast, trying to keep within a budget or you start paying silly money. This is definitely on the list!
Knew of the Glen but never thought Id play it but on the back of watching this video, I was lucky enough to make the trip and play it last summer. A super course. Going back to play again this summer before watching The Open at St Andrews and cannot wait. Mr Duck is right - for price, location, holes and views the Glen is the best course in East Lothian...if not Scotland.
I want to go to this place while I can still play. I'm 65 and still play to a single hdcp, but I've never seen anything like this and I have played Pebble Beach.
Quality of your content and videos keeps getting better and better! Enjoyed that! Only question with your accent please tell me your a Blue not a Red?😂

What an absolute fantastic golf course. The views are stunning. Hopefully one day I make it across the pond to play some of these historic venues.
Keith Walker hopefully Keith
Played there this weekend just gone. Absolutely Fantastic!
Beautiful filming. Really enjoy the visuals and the feel of your videos
Fantastic scenery, a ruined castle in the background and a bit of breeze - nothing finer in golf.
And a great quality video as well!
Spot on Justin, ticks the boxes
I've seen the course, been to the castle and played at Gullane but always wanted to play The Glen and North Berwick. Hopefully, I will get there again.
Hope you do Mark
Another top notch video. Thank you for pointing us towards this place Andy. Can not wait to get up there next week.
Cheers Phil, I hope you have a great time mate, sure you will
Wonderful video. Been going there for 30 years. Thank you

Loving this new style Andy. Turnberry and Lytham vlogs were great too!

Loving these videos, production is amazing and offers a glimpse of places I’d like to go. The Glen looks stunning . . . the wife deserves a holiday 😉
You would both love the area Brian
Ive played The Glen a few times. Remember my tee shot on the 18th. Bounced down the road for miles, my longest drive ever 😂😂😂
I did have that same fear Billy
As I watched this I was thinking “I wonder what would happen if you were to push one and it land on the road”. Now I know!
First played the Glen many years ago. Driver off 18 and hit the beach - slicers nightmare.
Truely love this style of Vlogs Andy, keep it up my good fellow...
Thank you Andy
