Dropper post significantly improves agility when mtb. I have a hard tail and I go to a 5.5 mile intermediate xc trail loop. It took me 70 minutes on a rigid post. After installing 100mm dropper and several leg days later, I rode on the same loop and took just over 53 min!
Minute 6:21, technically using the preposition "for" in "for Pinarello" is incorrect for largely two reasons: 1. the UCI elite-team they both belong to is Ineos Grenadier as Pinarello doesn't have its own factory team but supplies the team with the necessary equipments across both road and off road. 2. at Olympic, athletes represent their countries, not the non-state affiliated teams. But of course using the preposition "on" instead of "of" fixes everything. (Yeah yeah I know I sound like a grumpy old man)
Lol I think I’d prefer loosing on the hardtail, so I could make some stupid excuse like “well if I had a squishy bike like the rest of these…”. What about you?
It has more to do with what sponsors the top bike riders happen to have, not winning because of the bike they are on. At that level all of the bikes in the field are good and not the difference in winning at all. When all the bikes are good the difference is negligible and comes down to the rider. The bike industry doesn’t want you to think that, because it does not sell bikes
@ 1:08, dude, it's not that you aren't in Paris, you're WAY off on your facts out of the gate! 800MM is a whopping 15.7". Not even Motocross or Supercross bikes have anywhere NEAR that much travel. You also stated a whole degree slacker than the actual on the S Works HT angle! And saying 500mm on Pidcock's stack, you're off by a whopping 90mm! Hardly a "detailed look". There's a reason people that post accurate videos proof them carefully before posting, you obviously don't! It's easy to see why you show the charts, because it's the only accurate thing to go by in your video.
1:08 is “a-hundred mms of…,” not 800 mms. Thanks for catching my mis-speaking on the other two geo numbers though, there’s a lot of numbers going through my head while filming haha, hence why the charts are included as well. Hopefully the rest of the info was helpful for you 🤙
@@99spokes Just listened to it a few more times, and it sounds a lot more like you're saying 800mm. I was also listening close to see if you said "A 100mm" (pronounced ay), but that makes no sense either. I only post videos of a hobby of mine, but even those I double check. If I were doing something like this, I would check them even more. You seem to be taking my input constructively though, so I appreciate that. My main gripe right now is I missed the men's XC mt bike race, and I've not been able to find ANY highlights. That's the only reason I stumbled across this video btw. If you know of any highlights, please post a link, thanks.

Couldn’t agree more! But choosing to focus on the winners saves us from making a video feature a hundred plus bikes 😅
I Hate Sram

Mechanical
