Also Game: Bare knuckle punches zombie face full of open sores.

Vaccines are preventative, unless he already has a natural immunity (which the game implies he does not, since he needs braclet to tell him how much of the infection is concentrated on his blood stream, I'm assuming), than vaccines don't do anything when you don't have a built up immune system and are polluting your system with the infection. That's just adding to your death.
@@devilsadvocate2876 now that depends on how long it takes the virus to actually infect you, like rabies, it takes 3-4 weeks before you actually get infected after a bite, if you get bitten by a rabies infected dog, you have to take a rabies vaccine in order to create antibodies
@@chistofferweberg6962 I haven't played this game so I don't know how fast it is. But I'm assuming that since the bracelet was pinging pretty quickly when the guy was in some sublevel room with a bunch of zombies that it doesn't take very long since you only have minutes to get out. Lol
That’s not the point. Aiden is already infected, apparently dead zones cause the mutation to spread faster.
Maybe Anyone will only get infected in dark zones and stay completely immune if everyone stay in sun or uv lights

Thankfully techland is a company who went into the dark about dying light 2 because it would be costly to say about it. Aka we won't see details on it till the project is designed otherwise good to be shown. Aka we only know from old BUT techlands 2021 new year's did show us the main of dl2 here. So we know they are in the shadows working away. So for me this is all I need

Vikel The Viking I mean, it does look like he was only grazed or hit in the shoulder and was knocked over. And I’m pretty sure he was playing on easy mode for the demo and it will one shot you on higher difficulties. Not really anything to get worked up over...

Duskblade actually the charecter is clearly infected as shown in the first scene, maybe that will explain his stamina and ability to recover from a gunshot.~

The guy playing has balls of steel. If I was in the dark zone I would have shat myself so hard and lost my nerve.
Don't worry, the guy showcasing the mission is probably playing this mission for the fiftieth time or so in order to do it this flawlessly. That said he's probably on the edge of his seat during that part.

For people who don’t have faith in this game, I’d say play the first one. It was so ahead of its time and the mechanics were amazing! They can only improve from there and it’s showing here
I hated the degrading of weapons, especially rare weapons that can only be repaired a few times then never again.

MoZz, Yes I found out a duplication glitch that wasn't patched so I used that and later on I did use cheat programs for that reason.
DrinkEnemyBlood there are quests found in the slums with a blue shield icon. Do it and the survivor lets you restore your weapons
Jotaro but on a budget, Interesting I should reinstall that game it was very fun.
I'm loving the reworks to the flare and uv light. The small additions and changes to parkour are dope too. One small thing I noticed was when he jumps and turns sideways, the way he lands is weird. He doesnt roll or slide or fall or anything. He just jumps sideways and plops down kinda funny. Over all I hope Techland takes their time with this one because based on what they've shown and said it has a lot of potential to improve on an already badass platform. If they keep the same game laid out by the first one, it will feel stale, but very playable. Any additions would be new value. It seems like the game is getting grittier in mechanics and more mature in violence than the first, which is a lot to say.
I really hope this doesn't turn out like cyberpunk did.
At least they are not giving us an early access release date like Cyberpunk did

@@Ravathiel Because irl there are 100 ways for you personally to become smarter and be on top of the situation. But our character in game is never someone who understands deception, facial expressions or even tries to find out if everything makes sense, and if people do things for a reason. The colonel had the upper hand in that scenario, our guy was surrounded it was obvious something was a setup against him.
Blame it on chirs avelone shitty writing. Id prefer a choice to screw both of them over...

I've been watching E3 trailers so long I know when to say,
"Oh, that looks cool, that won't be in the game. . ."
Charles Guidry like that pull the bar from under the garage door whilst sliding and use it as a weapon.
@@sergeantrainstorm1269 I seriously feel more than half of the stuff in that zombie building alone won't make it in. And it definitely won't be as open with people living on every floor like they make it out.
Remember the Game Awards trailer for Atlas then it's immediate release...good times.
Honestly though look at Dying Light 1's trailers vs the actual game. It was pretty much 100% what you see is what you get. That game is absolutely stellar. While this area is definitely scripted heavily, I'm confident it will be in the game as is and probably won't be all one-offs (like the garage door weapon etc).
my way of managing expectations:
-Watch trailer
-Check game 2-3 weeks after release and then see what it's really like.
-Never pre-order

Crane is definitely dead whether or not he turned into a Zombie. DL2 takes place 15 years after 1 so two things.
1: It would be 15 years of the nuke that ended Harran's epidemic.
2: Kyle would've definitely died as a zombie cause 15 years is a long time.
So unless they somehow magically come up with an explanation on how Kyle survived the nuke/turning into a volatile, he's dead.

I just started playing dying light a couple days ago. Loving it so far. This game looks to have improved in every way compared to the first game. Cant wait to drop kick everything off buildings lol.

dying light doesn't feel like dying light anymore....it has become more of a movie....love it and hope it keeps its promises.....
It's 100% choreographed dude....Of course it looks like a movie, they are trying to sell you an over bloated lie. It's up to you to see the mechanics and potential and make an informed decision when you feel comply with what you've seen. This was nothing more than a tease, for all we know choices can make next to no difference outside a few select choices or they can mean all the difference. Same thing with those choreographed moves during the chase, could be an over abundance or well spaced out like in the first game. Don't believe everything you see in a trailer, always wait for someone who isn't getting payed to promote the game to show or give an opinion.

well, the movement and parkours in dying light 1 was exceptional. Wouldn't expect less than that from the second part.

Have you played the first one? The movement and parkour mechanics were extremely solid and honestly the best part about it. The story was meh and the voice actors were terrible, something I hope they remedy in this one.

@@theviolenceenjoyerGood and bad endings are very common in video games. Implementing them is nothing special anymore. But, what I'm tired of are games that advertise the level influence of their players to the environment. They use a section of a world-changing plot to insinuate that this will only happen if the player picks this path, which is likely to be false.
@@MrH2O1998 There are plenty of games with large swaths of content that are only accessible to certain play-throughs. The souls series, while not a strong example, has plenty of optional content/bosses etc. Dying Light 1 delivered exactly what they promised, so I see no reason to distrust that this water drained zone really is un-accessible to certain story paths. We don't know how big that area is, for example.
I wonder if the Colonel is the same one that was married to The Mother in The Following. She claims he died in her arms, but that may be just an expression considering she contradicts herself immediately after saying he gave her a cigarette box and told her to run. So if he didn't actually "die in her arms", there's a chance he's still out there. I seriously doubt it, but this is a the same game that messes around with telepathic zombies, and that would be a pretty cool tie to the original. You know, other than the virus...

@@DzakyAmany Just finished the DLC - he was a colonel and was called the Colonel.
I think even the virus is at least slightly different, cause it seems to speed up infection when in a dark zone.
The colonel in the Following is dead. This is a different colonel. This is set in a different country after the whole world has been infected I believe.

I've also preordered vampire the masquearade bloodlines 2, we definitely need more games in vampire setting like it has however I have very little faith in it, I don't think they will come close to the first part, I just preordered to give my full support to the devs. So that's a 2 out of 3 games I preordered, Dying Light 2 doesn't have preorder available so

KvasTaras oh yes dying light 2 does look promising. Never played zombie games but am looking for the post apocalyptic/ survival feel hence last of us2, maybe Metro exodus... I'm really just looking for a post apocalyptic survival base builder looter game xd I know it's a lot. Basically last of us but with a sort of minecraft aspect to it. (That really didn't help explaining hahah)
Dying light had some parkour but Dying light 2 is Mirrors edge with zombies.

The moment he got through that elevator while being chased reminded me so much of the first game. That creepy feeling when you want to look behind you not knowing if they already got to you. Never had this in any other zombie game.
Really hope they focus more on the imfected. Fighting survivors especially in the second area of the first game wasn't as much fun in my opinion. Probably cause of the ranged combat.

Well, yeah, but this may not be the Harran Virus - meaning it may also not be passed through fluids. And no-one says Aiden needs Antizin, so... is Antizin not a thing anymore? Maybe contracting the virus is not so bad if it's possible to forego the transformation by different means, or having some kind of immunity that makes the disease only provoke the first stage symptoms. Either way, it would be pretty interesting to see a vaccine for the virus be the thing that actually turned everyone.

New Dying Light 2 weapon - The Scorpio: One shots everyone, if you get shot by it you don't die. Seems legit to me.
