Daaaaaaanm I was in love with The Good Girls. I actually compared them to En Vogue (looks wise). The Just call me album, I thought, was dope. They were in House Party 3. A lil role but just seeing them made the movie worth watching. I still consider The Good girls true R&B. Thanks for another great vid, King

I would like to make several corrections. Joyce actually sang lead on most of their songs on both of their albums. However, the singles that were released were led by Shireen. I’ve seen recent pictures of all three women and they are all beautiful.

I was in love with Vanity and she always reminded me of her. They were all lovely and talented ladies. I saw a video of them performing and they still have it( smile)

I produced the GoodGirls along with my production partner John Barnes III and the 2nd CD was better than the first album, It didn't sell well because MCA was screwing Motown artists over so the record company would look like it was failing and MCA could buy it cheap. The CD was not a flop it just didn't sell well because of record company clowns. Listen to the whole CD and you'll hear it is still very good

Had the the biggest crush on shireen growing up. My dad and DeMonicas uncle are best friends from the Marines. He was in the industry as well. Spent my 2020 birthday at the house in L.A.. DeMonicas mom is my fav shout out Aunt D.D. 🤗🙏🏾😘

Motown didn't promote them liked they should have. Motown focused more on Boyz To Men. The Good Girls could go gone further in their career. They had the look, could dance and sing. A true Triple Threat.

Genetics probably means way more than how you take care of yourself. Some people don't take care of themselves yet look good later in life, and some people try hard only to age fast.
I think the reason Shireen was the lead is because she was the tallest one.

Shireen bears a strong resemblance to Denise Matthews aka Vanity. Who was one of the most beautiful female entertainers of any color in the industry.
I wouldn’t say strong resembles maybe a little bit. Vanity nose is way more on the thinner side than shireen.
Damn Shireen is beautiful and gorgeous back then when she was with The Good Girls I had a big crush on her and I did remember seeing on a movie (I forgot the name of the movie. Dammit!!) Yes,1989, my soph yr at Dunbar H. S. Chicago. Them and I believe Ice T and Big Daddy Kane came to the school. Dam the sanging. They was each FINE AS A MUG😳🤗! I noticed her in some flicks and shows more than once. I never knew of another cd. But, thinking back, they did the "Soul Train" back then, lip sing. The group just opened other doors for her apparently. Good for her. Would you wanna hear them now😳😁?

All of them were beautiful back in the day but Shireen was the prettiest in my opinion. She still look good the other two aged horribly and look their age.
It wasn't that she was the best looking,they all were beautiful.She was put out front because she looked the most "passing".They should've let Joyce & DeMonica sing lead more because we got tired of Shireen's voice after the first album.One of my favorite groups of all time & one of my dance idols❤️ Btw...you look like you sound so watch your mouth talking about other people's looks.That lady went through a lot & looks are the least important thing you can lose😒

No, they all aged well they are all still beautiful, they just have different features.
I think it's tasteless to compare women's looks in this way. I personally think they are ALL beautiful and aged well. Genetics play a huge role and so does vanity. How much time one has to spend in the gym or how much of your budget you allocate to beauty products and practices. It's just not okay to spout opinions like its facts when it comes to how someone looks. WOuld you want someone saying this about your mom or daughter ? Im sure you meant well...but...It just seems cruel to me.
