Yeah that's a very interesting thing to see. But i also love that KH clearly isn't losing itself while doing that. Union X and Dark Road had pretty dark and heavy stories but it still has the lovable characters, the Disney magic and the feels that you get from the other games. I love that KH is becoming more mature and dark but it's not losing what made it such a great experience in the first place.

Everyone keeps saying “it’s like bloodborne” This style is called Gothic Architecture (look up dark gothic architecture for similar images)
I remember when attending the 2.5 launch event, Nomura's translator mentioned Kingdom Hearts being their saving grace back when they were square soft and thanks to the overseas fan base, they were able to gain a huge amount of money. Why Japan still gets the cool exclusives is still a mystery to me...
The amount of "Ooooooo!'s" I've done during this vid is ridiculous 😂 The Victorian gothic art style is stunning! The dark aesthetics of the keyblades and outfits, the world itself is so damn nice! (I say with only this picture to go off of lol) and now I'm freaking out that Sigurd was the Missing Link narrator! Lol
it'd be nice if someday we'd be able to see this dark Scala world in a similar way as we did with 3, just being able to run around and see what's up, similar to shag I expect of KH4 or even Bloodborne. Either way, very nice! And welcome back, Cynical 😁

When looking at the guy you mentioned looks like his raised hand looked almost like it has a pistol, I noticed he's actually holding a Keyblade behind him in his other hand, identical to the girl next to him with the first Keyblade you pointed out. So I think they have the common Keyblade, like Starlight was the Union Cross common Keyblade. The other two with unique Keyblades are definitely likely to be important characters in that case.

I hope we get some updates on KH4 because it's been 8 months since the new trailer was revealed and Missing Link will likely reveal plot points about the game.
I think that we will hear more about KH5 next year.

Apparently Nomura's in the same boat on the last bit, so he's also designed the game to make it to where you don't even have to go outside your house if you don't want to.
I don’t think you have to go outside to play the game. You can also choose another mode from what i remember where you don’t have to go outside.
