A pc version would definitely be cool since more people would be willing to play the game, but I will play kh regardless of the format
the thing I like more is kh doesn't really expect a highly expensive computer I got maybe ddr2 Gen and it runs kh still amazingly
I like that they have an IRL mode pokemon Go style as well are a regular mode if you dont want to do that, if it was IRL only i would be very disappointed

For the potential PC release, Nomura has stated in a past interview (was around the time ML was revealed so I'm not 100% on the source) that he wanted people to be able to play from home just as if they were actually outside. That actually being outside and moving for the game would still be more rewarding, but make it still possible to fully play the game from a single location. This was in reference to mobile, but I'd assume the same would go for a PC version.
If I find the interview, I'll be sure to mention where I found it.

They could just make it so your outdoors movement on your phone transfers to your PC version, so you're still doing the walking but playing on a 'console'

Lots of good news. Hopefully the monetisation through the housing and clothes market will mean they can ease up on monantising the figure market and therefore make the core gameplay and story more f2p friendly. Aiming for May has me hopeful because I thought the game would probably be coming out later tbh. Also glad to hear they're thinking about PC, if they're thinking of developing a version for a stationary device maybe AP mode will be fairly generous in how much you can do.

if he puts in player housing, this tells me he wants the game to stay indefinitely which really makes me happy because i never got the chance to play union cross/ x chi.
I know people don't play a lot of mobage here, but the monetization is pretty standard. Mobage currently usually do have battle passes, shops, and banners to go along with it so it's not a Square exclusive thing! I'd say this is pretty good and they do need to make money to sustain it, so I hope it's successful.

I heard, in regard to putting Missing Link on home consoles, they were going to make that it’s own thing should they decide to do so. It’s not entirely clear, but my guess is maybe there could be another story focused on different characters (kinda like Back Cover focusing on the foretellers from the KHUX era). I can see this case for possibly focusing on the Founders. Of course, take that with a grain of salt 🤔
Now we just need to wait for KH4 news
kh4 sounds fun but with kh3 hype for what we got after so long I think kh4 will be nice graphics but shame to what og players used to big difference hopefully I'm wrong hopefully they learned from kh3 that it was a disappointment story wise but still a good game

I feel like a Home version is a given considering it's possible to disable the GPS features AND it already supports full controller support.
I know it would take some time (and I don't even know if it would be possible) but what would be really cool is if they did do a PC version, have them remove the GPS part of the game and retool it to be more like a Kingdom Hearts MMO. From what I've heard about the game it doesn't sound too farfetched.
That could work, make the mobile game a sort of "pokéwalker" type thing where you can get different rewards for going out, and then you can use the same account on the PC MMO to show off your rewards to your friends. Both games fully playable on their own, but the use of both versions leads to a bigger, better experience
A PC version would be amazing, I have issues with my health and can't exactly play the game as intended so this would definitely be welcome.
I would be happy if missing link got any home release but a part of me sort of hopes that there could be a console release

yeah my old phone isn't likely to be able to run missing link so i am hoping for a PC release (current plan is just using a emulator anyways, but that's assuming something like gps joystick works there)

I’ll personally love a switch port of the game, ML seems to be perfect for that console and it wouldn’t need to tone down the visuals since it’s a mobile game (plus FF pixel remasters got a switch port and they were on mobile originally)

may is a good date this would mean they have a good team working on it im unsure if i remember but i thought they didnt have their best team on this game so i expect more july auguest or even september but may would be too soon if they dont have the best teams working on this got to remember dark road was released globaly they had to shut it down for what another 6 months because they had the same team working on dark road thats working on this game may is a little to soon and a bold statement from numora for it to be only delayed eaither its ready after the January beta or its simply not ready yet so if it needs any approvements after January's beta 4 moths is too soon for a release date knowing how slow and long this same team takes to even come out with 1 update let alone a full mobile version

If they try to make ML as absurdly expensive as khux was we’re going to have a problem. $60 a month for access to a couple of medals was complete bull.

UX was fairly generous to players who went f2p, so hopefully they keep that same spirit with ML
It works fantasticly on 14 only on the customizing side of it. Housing system on 14 is garbage with the lottery stuff and the amount of houses availables.
I haven't seen anyone talk about how Missing Link is going to ha e heartless in our "FICTIONAL" world (think maybe... Shibuya), is this going to tie into how the heartless invade the world in KH4???
With every new piece of info, all it tells me is it should've just been put on consoles....I love KH as much as everyone here, but the micro transaction frenzy this game is seemingly going to have, slips my interest bit by bit...my only slight piece of hope is the "home" version.

Call me crazy but I think a switch version would be perfect for Missing link. It also would work decently well, if optimized correctly.

Well genshin bleach honkai are all mobile games that have come out to playstation so I'm having hope we get it next year. I just think it will be for PC only cause console are getting mobile gatcha games as well.

that's probably the reason. server load would be huge for such a big region, but i can also see that they may have more players in japan than all of the US, so that might not make sense.

I spent $0 on UX from beginning to end. I'll do it again in a heartbeat for ML. FTP all the way for me. I don't care about getting ahead of others. Just need to be strong enough to get through the story.
I prefer to have only the real Disney stuff (including Pixar, because it's also a real Disney thing) to be in the Kingdom Hearts series. I'm not so much in the 20th Century Fox stuff, The Marvel stuff and the Lucasfilm stuff like Star Wars because they don't seem to be real Disney stuff. They're part of Disney because the Company bought them. It's kind like DreamWorks isn't a real Universal thing. DreamWorks is only part of Universal because Universal bought it.
Personally id rather there be no disney at all it drags the setting down imo

I love Kingdom Hearts, but if the series continues to have 2 microtransaction riddled mobile games for every console game I might have to finally give up on the franchise. I miss the days when the "side" games still came out on handheld consoles. Console releases are always more consumer friendly and don't die forever after the service goes down. I'm worried that the future of Kingdom Hearts will mostly contain shutdown games that can't be experienced outside of cutscene compilations like Union X.

You know what? If Nomura is crazy enough to let you have a player house filled with trophies for achievements like FFXIV does without the BS housing market in that game, I'D SCREAM FOR MY WALLET AND DOWNLOAD THIS GAME! TAKE MY F**KING MONEY!!!! ^_^
1:22 No it doesn't - it's terrible. Always has been. Any system that doesn't allow every single player to have a house is badly designed. If you want an example of a better housing system, look at Elder Scrolls Online - in it, every player can own every house in the game, and more get added to the game with each major dlc. FFXIV just has copy & pastes of the same four housing areas, and most instances are limited to free companies, not individual players. Plus, the housing plots aren't all the same size in each area, so larger houses are even more limited than houses in general.

What makes me sad that this game actually sounds like a lot of fun but the idea of it being location base is making less and less sense, it sounds like they should have made the game more like genshi impact instead of pokemon go I don't see what the location-based gameplay adds it made sense for pokemon but here it doesn't. I don't even think that it being a gacha game would hold it back much but the idea you need to be constantly outside or being paying money just to play will, especially because this has a story so to porgress you will need to play. And I have a feeling it going to have the same problem as pokemon go where cities will being full and everywhere else will have nothing.

Player housing in F2P games is usually a horrible experience and just another way of whaling.
Weekly sub on FF7 ever crisis made me stop playing after FF9 crossover. among other things of course. but if they do weekly, i for sure wil either not even play and just watch youtube for the story.. These mobile gatcha games are predatory and i cannot support it, even if it's my favorite series, KH.
Personally, I hate location games. If I need to leave to play, I just end up not playing at all. If this game emds up being a watered down mobile game like Union X, I'll skip it

because mobile games are the most profitable game medium, especially gacha? they make stacks from stuff like this, casual phone gamers are the single biggest market and it's not even close.

dude, they do it for a reason y'know? If they released an update world-wide and it turned out to BREAK THE ENTIRE GAME, that's a whole lot of damage control they gotta do. so they release it in japan first, see if it's up to snuff, then release it everywhere else. It's not selfish, it's just a good way to quality control.
