Glk350 is what you need, its a just a lifted w204,they literally share the chassis and about 90% of parts with more interior space and clearance.You could keep most of your mods from the c300 and just put them back in the glk.
You are spot on about those cheap LED lights, they would stay on and one morning I woke up to a dead battery cause those cheap lights would just go on and off all by themselves even when my engine was off =(
I have the exact same car and I love what Youv done to it , the way you explain things saves me a lot of hassle when I can DIY , keep up the good work bro 👌🏽 implementing my own project on the Merc by viewing your videos .

When I'm adjusting the Allen key clockwise or even counter clockwise, the headlight doesn't seem to adjust. Is it a fast process and just requires a bunch of turns ? any ideas?

First of all congratulations to the parents and hope that it is a baby with great health is the most important. And lastly do not leave Mercedes, I was also father in June 2017 and I have a C350 AMG stationwagon and I love this car, the driving is the same as the sedan and you have space for the baby's things for the mother thing ....

I use Hose Grip pliers, they are almost a perfect fit to get around the little bulb housing and it does not break anything :) Of course you still need to be careful and not crush it and use the same pressure you would if you were using your fingers, Just put some electrical tape on the ends for added grip.
I somehow pulled the whole light housing out and it broke in half LOL

Hi, like to check with you.. at the back of each 2009 W204 headlights, there are TWO WHITE screws. One of the Screw, which you explained is to adjust the heights of the projector lens. What is the other WHITE Screw for? Is it to adjust the DEPTHS (Forward or Backwards) of the Projector lens? My right lights is currently very dispersed, there isn’t one solid concentration. The lights is spread until like there isn’t any. Hope to get an answer from you. Thanks.

If you're still monitoring this site, I made the clockwise adjustments as you suggested but nothing happened. I'm wondering what the actual mechanism that I'm rotating looks like in a breakdown? I'm also wondering if something is stripped that won't lower the lights? Both headlights are in the same condition, simply too high and won't lower.
I've had the R-class 320 diesel for 11yrs now. It's a 6seater, with trunk space. or it's a 4 seater with a large trunk space. Wouldn't change.

+Mirea Georgian I don't see why they wouldn't fit in the floor bolts. But I know the seat has a bigger back which may hit the rear seats.... Then there is the whole airbag in the seat mechanisms that may not function as a rear side....ugh this is beginning to sound like a nightmare lol. But hey I have seen crazier!
I know this is old news but you should get an Audi q3 or q4 I want one. I'd tune it for easy get up and go power when you need it. Do a front mount intercooler I don't suggest q5 or 6. Q3 is very efficient and plenty of room. My c300 is 2011 paddle shifters with a injen pedal commander it's a nice awd but it's my first automatic transmission vehicle and it is quite bland. I'll never buy a v6 vehicle again.
im thinking of swopping mine out but i have no clue why they made such a little bulb so hard to get out it just kills your finger tips.. whatever happened to the twist to get out ones..

Is it the same for the E220? My son has just had his car failed the MOT. The failed bits were headlamp aim too high on both front headlights.
Also the headlamp levelling device inoperative Nearside Rear.
Any ideas what they mean by this last bit?
The garage said once he has got the new headlamp levelling device fitted, it will then automatically adjust the level of his headlamps??
Is this correct? What is the levelling device they are talking about please - I have tried to see where I can get one, but it comes up that the part can't be recognised.

If he does have auto leveling it is built into the headlights. He could always buy aftermarket headlights that don't have that feature. His headlights should still have a manual adjustment

so i have the gle 350 and qhen my car is off and has been off for quite a while my car stsrts humming n the headlights start moving on thier own, WTF IS THAT? why does it do that?? anyone?? i should mention i have the 2018 GLE 350
Ok I've learned that there is no side to side adjustment, helpful! Now what if the lights when installed correctly point left? My lights look new and are MB but the light is shifted. Any thoughts other than replacement?

The reason why the right low beam light is dipped a little is so that when you drive past people your not blinding them. Congratialations you have now blinded every single person you have drived past XX
Perhaps in the UK, South Africa, Australia, etc you would be correct. In the US, the left (aka driver side) is the one that should be lower as it will be the one closer to oncoming traffic since we drive on the right
QueStion about your Morimoto XB led’s. Do they give you any error message when installed ? Have you installed these on the side markers or license plate lights ? Any luck? Looking to purchase these Morimotos just want to make sure I won’t get an error

The only led running is on the eyebrows Morimoto 194.
My main lights are hid with a canbus system.
Side Marker has a kit with a resistor, there is a video of it on my channel

I have a 2012 C300 4matic and was wondering if you use the Morimoto 194 for not only your headlights but also as your high beams? I'm conflicted on whether or not to buy them for my high beams since I rarely ever use my high beams.

+Baylor Wilson Thank you for the awesome comment!!! I would not use this bulb as a primary headlight, I would opt for the Morimoto H7 HID canbus system. If you want to be the brightest car on the road get the 55w system you won't be disappointed lol. Don't worry about the high beams, it's not worth the money to change them out since you rarely use them! I can't wait to see your mods on Instagram.
Question for you! I have this lighting system on my 2015 GLK. Drivers side low beam headlamp was pointing low towards the ground. I removed the circle black cover as to gain access to the light. The bottom of the light is secured but the top is not and I am able to move the lamp around by hand. Easy fix or does the entire assembly need replacement?
Make sure the headlight housing is properly secured with all bolts on tight. Then check and make sure the bulb is seated correctly, it should not move. A 2015 should still be under warranty
@@RaymondUrias yes it is secured properly. The high beam and entire housing is secure. When I remove the circle cover to gain access to the low beam light I can reach inside and move the low beam assembly around. The bottom is secured but it seems the top is lose. That is why the bulb is moving and pointed downward.
Adam G it should not be doing that. You may need a new headlight or if you are lucky you can find the screw inside and tighten it

In Jones little plastic tabs need to be turned 90° to unlock them then lift up

Oh the actual base broke. You are better off ordering new headlights honestly. You can try to go to a junkyard and get what you need but then you will have to cut and solder in the new connection

Does your low beam headlights flicker? I installed some led and my lights flicker even after installing anti flicker canbus
Nope these do not flicker. They are morimoto HID
Raymond Urias did u have to reprogram the computers or anything like that. Mine is really sensitive. Mine starts flickering after like 5 minutes.

Newer headlights 2018+ have to be adjusted this way + computer adjustments for auto leveling

Xenon headlights are self leveling on every brand per dot requirements. But c classes without the xenon bulbs have manual adjustment.
