Does having moister in your head light also cause MOT failure?

Hi..is there a way to change the English head lights to European driving plse? 2010. W204

Hi, Yes, you can typically adjust the headlight beam pattern of your vehicle from English to European driving by accessing the headlight housing or control module. However, this process can vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle, so it's best to consult your vehicle's owner's manual or contact a professional mechanic for specific instructions.
Additionally, using beam deflectors or headlamp beam converter kits is a common and convenient way to temporarily adjust the headlight beam pattern for driving in Europe while ensuring compliance with local regulations. These devices can easily be installed on your headlights to redirect the light output and prevent dazzling oncoming drivers. Thanks 🙏🏽

@@TajMotorMedics Hi that's for your quick reply..it's much appreciated...The car has been imported to Spain ...It was imported 5 years ago and had gone through 5 MOT roadworthy tests no problem..so the lights have been switched over..I had to change one of the bulbs in the dipped beam..I took it to a center that is super strict...When I changed the bulb and tested it I put the head lights height adjustment on the number 3 which lifted them up a bit...would this have put them out on the gauge when they put them on the light box..?The guys testing it are looking for any excuse to fail the car..There are not nice people...The car went through the same test 5 times in the past with nothing different to this time and passed no problem.Apart from the height setting been on 3...I'm quite good when it comes to DIY work on cars...Thanks The car has Normal head lights..There's no adjustments from the settings on the dashboard..so I'm guessing it's done from the rear of the lamp itself?

@@nickycocreator7694 Hi, replacing a headlight bulb should typically not affect the height adjustment of the headlight beam. The headlight height adjustment control is designed to allow you to adjust the angle and height of the beam pattern to suit different driving conditions or loads in the vehicle.
When you replace a headlight bulb, the physical positioning of the bulb should not alter the headlight beam height adjustment. However, it's possible that the act of working on the headlight housing during the bulb replacement may have inadvertently moved or adjusted the headlight aim slightly. This can happen if the headlight housing was accidentally nudged or disturbed during the process.
If the testing center is extremely strict and looking for any excuse to fail the car, I would recommend double-checking the headlight alignment according to the manufacturer's specifications and ensuring that they meet the European driving standards. If necessary, you may also consider visiting a certified mechanic or specialized service center for adjustments or expert advice.
      Thanks 🙏🏽
