This is excellent! I never got to see Rory but ran across some folks who did in the mid to late '80s and mentioned him hanging out with fans after the show. This was in SF, where Rory said he started recording tracks for an upcoming release years before. Wish i could have caught any show he played in SF, be it Winterland or The 'Stone.
