Well Joe you have done it again with another great video. You managed to captured the colours of the rocks even in the middle of the day beautifully. I love the way the rocks form like a layers and look like a wave. Stunning👍👌
Just came across your website and watched this episode; outstanding photography and, most importantly, the feeling of peace and serenity you convey through both your filming and your commentaries. Ride safe mate and thank you for offering us the opportunity to see a side of Australia most of us tourists never get to see.
thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. If you did want to watch more there is a playlist on the channel that has the episode in order for series one and series two which might help make more sense.
Hey Joe , great country up in Kimberly's area . I've been quite a few times myself and first time being in 1974 . Yep it was something else then , desolate , quiet and beautiful . Love seeing where you're going each episode . Something struck me when watching the last one . Joe you were dropped into the wrong time era I think , because after hearing some of your comments re people , crowds etc and your love of dirt roads the 70's & 80's would have been you all over . Nearly everything was dirt then and not many people travelling about in those days ..........perfect ! If you're heading via the mid north coast NSW give me a yell , you're welcome here buddy for a break . Cheers
well great pick up Graham, I have actually done a documentary about things happening in the late 60's and early 70's, I have spent a bit of time in California doing research into the time period, as well as another project in Indonesia in that period and well how about the music coming out of that time. I think I would have been very happy exploring back then. thanks, I am sure I'll be coming through North Coast NSW in the future.
thanks mate, yes it is absolutely stunning, and I have barley scratch the surface, will just mean I 'll have to come back again..... and again.... and again.
Oh sweet memories! 23 years ago, I toured Western Australia on the exact same route. I cannot believe, it was so long ago. Now, I´ve started to digitalize my pictures from that trip because of you making me so melancholy.
Thanks Adam, it's great to hear you are enjoying the Australia series. It was an incredible place seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely stunning photos again I love your photography. So lucky to get it on your own because it can get quite touristy. We were there on the 30/6/23 and were lucky to get a park. We took our noodles and floated up the gorge to more stunning water holes. Have been twice now to Karijini and managed to walk all gorges and swim. Hope you enjoyed Karijini as much as us. Looking forward to your next video it will make me want to go again. Jo Traveling Tiene’s
Yes definitely an incredibly stunning area, yes the ones further up were really good especially the small round one. I am sure you could go back many times and not get bored of the place.
Thank you Joe for yet another stunning episode. As a retired semi pro photographer i love your photos at the end. You obviously have a great eye for pulling out amazing detail and making the most of the light.
Thanks mate glad you are enjoying the series. Yes I find that the biggest thing try to grab those quick moments of light as I can't really wait around for the best conditions.
Hey Joe, wow truly spectacular, such an incredible places you’ve journeyed to, yes I’m an 100 % agreement, nothing beats a good fire, we camp everywhere we go, sometimes in some areas there might be a burn ban but there’s just nothing like a fire and of course a little hooch around a fire, and that water, yes a swim is a must, hang in there Joe, will wait for your next episode. Rob from U.S.- be safe out there
@@freewayproject well there’s lots of us who live through you guys on RUclips, to me that speaks volume, wish I was exploring your awesome journeys along side of you, guess in a way I am, be safe on the road or the bush.
Great adventures mate, Very pleasant editing with fantastic music, thanks for sharing your experience with us, good luck on your adventures. God bless. 👍
Stunning and wonderful episode. I have been watching for best part of 6 hours now, one after another and a thought came to my mind. As a photographer you have the best dark sky to photograph the milky way in the outback. with a camp and campfire in foreground... Who I am kidding, you must have done that. Nice video mate. Cheers.... hey wait... I see no dingo and this is episode 16...
Thanks mate glad you are enjoying the series. Well there are a couple of shots of campfires along the way and a few milky way night sky's. I probably would do more night shots but most of the time I was too tired at the end of the day so went to sleep before it was totally dark. In the next 2 episode would have been the most likely place to see dingos but none.
I was actually surprised when I saw the footage as I had just pulled over to get a shot along a dirt road not expecting a backdrop that looked like a movie set.
Love it, what a cool spot that last water hole the layers of different sediment its hard to wrap your mind around billions of years of evolution thanks Joe for showing us this beautiful country we live in , until next Friday cheers mate ride safe.
Lol I watched your video in the middle of the night…woke up this morning and thought I dreamt it! Beautiful as usual, love the flat lands. “Range anxiety” that’s cool.
Sitting on my patio tonight after work & relaxing while watching your gorgeous photos is so calm & relaxing! I love your appreciation for nature & emphasizing this throughout your videos, keep it coming mate, safe travels, cheers from the US. That terrain looks pretty similar to here in Arizona :)
Thanks mate, glad you are enjoying the series. It's just amazing to be able to explore places like this. I would love to explore Arizona from the photos I have seen.
So I clicked the like before I started watching because I just knew this was going to be another great vid. Excellent land scapes and those rock formations in the gorge were spectacular. Love your photo of the dancing flames, just brilliant 😊
I've enjoyed watching your series mate, especially as a fellow Himalayan owner, my family and I lived in Paraburdoo for a long time and I still work FIFO out of there, I've considered riding from home in Perth up to work one swing, you may have just convinced me, safe travels buddy love ya work..Jimmy
Thanks Jimmy, glad you are enjoying the series and thanks for the continued support. that ride is definitely worth it and I barely scratched the surface, I bet you could do the trip a bunch of times and explore different areas each time.
@freewayproject Cheers man, I'll have to do it before summer, 46deg is slightly less inviting, I owned a furniture truck and used to do a few cashies on days off, no AC in the old truck and summer perth to Paraburdoo trips where a slog, but yes I'll take the Enfield that way sometime soon, just curious, what type of drone do you use?
Great episode. I find myself looking forward to your Friday drop each week. Truly showed the harshness of the WA outback, balanced with the beauty of such stunning formations. The colours and uniqueness are Mother Nature at her best. Hope you enjoyed your secluded swim 😜.
