- MMORPGS are one of my favorite genres check out this journey through World of Warcraft(wow) free trial where I play the first 20 levels for free. Will this turn me into a world of warcraft fiend or will I have to continue my search?

I've been playing WoW on a vet account F2P since halfway through Shadowlands (was a subscribed player since vanilla) and I've been loving re-exploring the world of Azeroth from that perspective on a RP server (only played PvE before I unsubbed). I've been having fun using the account to make machinimas but as a vet account I have the advantage of being able to use all the toys, mogs, and mounts I acquired over my many years of subscribed game play. I also twink in the 20s bracket on my F2P which is incredibly challenging because you're going up against level 29 XP-off players so you have to be really good to continue to be useful as a level 20 F2P. I find it fun but I am neurologically atypical so I recognize it is most definitely not the kind of fun that most people would enjoy.

Good intro, yeah the group finder for dungeons is the only way for free players to make a team, and that’s the point of a MMO

I also play on free trial and don't wanna pay (probably can't, because I'm in Russia). I have an idea to collect achievements and generally the content that is still free.
I did the free trial on dragonflight and after the dragon dungeon fight it got real confusing! I was jumping through different portals to different older DLC! 😂
You can visit NPC named Chromie in Stormwind and pick other expansion to visit, even Shadowlands.
I think they changed how Chromie time works in a recent Dragonflight patch so only vet accounts can use Chromie time in F2P.

I literally just started this today too on the trial, so far Id say its the 3rd, maybe 4th best MMO ive played, but final fantasy 11 and 14 are both better
can you actually continue the quests after level 20 or the enemies actually get to powerful for you to continue?
Nope. Level 20 Is free and maxed no more no less.
Bro, when you see someone that clicks on the 1 and 2 spells say that the game is comically easy, you know how ass the difficulty in WoW became. The entire world is easy, then you start doing some PVE and the difficulty spike EXPLODES.

WoW wouldve been much nicer and good to newer players if the level wasnt capped at 20.... let alone all content is cut off.
Its F2P trial yes... but honestly WoW shouldve been a F2P not a Pay to play.
