      Misbehaving?
      How? Was the kid at all disrespectful to the soldiers? Was the kid or parent even informed that this gentleman's shot was being obstructed by the child's presence?
      I do not see how the child could be misbehaving when she is practicing her privilege, as a tourist, to visit tourism spots so long as she does not obstruct the processions that occur in that location.
      I do not see what the child or mother was doing wrong when this dude did not even display his issues with them in the first place.
      That's my take on it.

    • @novideoscorp
      @novideoscorp 6 лет назад +3

      Is This Rain? I agree with you, but the parent and the child should have already noticed that the mans shot is being obstructed, that is what this videos creator thought, i guess....but then again as you said, he acted stupid enough to not ask her to back off, ofcourse it could have been a different reason for why he didnt tell her to go off- like maybe she and her parent spoke a different language, so they would have a miscommunication ( if this word even exists...)

    • @clone3_7
      @clone3_7 6 лет назад +1

      Vlad if you mean the Romanians, they didn't "let" us keep the lands. Romania infact wanted more from Hungary, one of the main reasons they attacked Hungary right after WW1. If not for Aurél Stromfeld, maybe Hungary wouldn't exist today.
      As for WW2, Romanians simply switched sides when the war was pretty much over, once again Romanians didn't let Hungary keep its land. It was the USSR which "let" us have our lands, while restoring the borders to how they were after the Treaty of Trianon, with some exceptions.

    • @aiziszizis2536
      @aiziszizis2536 3 года назад

      @@clone3_7
      1. We wanted the Tisa river to be the border between us. It was our native land until Magyar tribes arrived in the area.
      1.Hungary tried to change sides in 1944 before we did, but failed. Italy and Romania succeeded, Hungary failed. That's all. You conveniently forget that. And let's not forget how you attacked USSR without a reason.
      2. Transylvania was always a Romanian land, inhabited by Romanians, Hungary occupied this land for a few centuries (until Mohacs, 1526). After that, Transylvania had the same status as Wallachia and Moldova (guess why?) and then the Habsburg conquered Hungary and then Transylvania, unfortunately.
      You have no right to Transylvania and other territories, because they weren't yours. You should be happy with your country as it is now, be peaceful and stop dreaming of "Great Hungary" (that was a myth anyway).

    • @clone3_7
      @clone3_7 3 года назад +1

      @@aiziszizis2536 It was your native land? Really? Lots of people can claim, that something was their native lands once, that does not necessarily give them the right, to hold such territory, by using this logic you could redraw all borders on Earth. Truth is the territory was (and is) an integral part of Hungary for centuries.
      We had plans to switch sides, but there were never any serious attempts at doing so. The Germans commanced operation Margarethe and most plans became doomed, until the Soviets came closer. Eventually Horthy did try to switch sides in 1944 october 15, but as you said it failed.
      And there is nothing I have "conveniently" forgot, the context of my reply is on point. Romania did not win WW2, just like how Italy did not win WW2, and it was definitely up to the Soviets to decide who keeps which territory.
      Not without a reason, Kassa was bombed, the planes were not properly identified, but most sources pointed towards a bombing done by Soviet bombers (some claimed they were Romanian or German). Afterwards Hungary tried to diplomatically solve the situation, but because the Soviet Union was under attack by the Axis. They didn't give a proper reply (which is understandable, given the situation they were in), then Hungary declared war. Germany wanted Hungary to participate in the war and the bombing is likely just a scape goat.
      I didn't not talk about Transylvania at all. You are the person bringing it up. However you very correctly say: "Hungary occupied this land for a few centuries". There is nothing more I need to say after this, besides adding, that the Austrians gave jurisdiction of Transylvania to Hungary, which lasted until the end of WW1.
      Currently, I would agree with you, that by now Hungary has barely anything to do with Transylvania and should hold no claims over, that territory, but in the early 20th century this was not the case.
      Lastly Great Hungary is not a myth, it was just a very long time ago.

    You should hear it when a person interrupts the changing of the guard at the tomb of the forgotten soldier in the US! (I know, long sentence).
    They stop the entire ceremony, turn to the crowd, and demand absolute silence

  • @XProductions92
    @XProductions92 6 лет назад +1

    Why hasn't Belgium this kind of military ceremony? In Belgium, the Royal palace and the parliament are just guarded by random police officers and soldiers without "special uniforms" and rituals etc... They just stand there, like a person who is waiting for the bus or something.

    They can do whatever they want as long as they are abiding to the law, and it is your responsibility to ask them to move. They don't have to notice you, you are not saving the world, and you are not doing something beneficial to them, why should they care about you? When you throw your "common sense" at people, what makes you think your common sense is the "common sense"?

      Changing of the guard is sacred in nearly every country. In China, Japan, Korea, or whatever Asian country they are from, I'm sure it is double as important. Were it a Chinese military ceremony, they wouldn't dare show an ounce of disrespect.

      During changing of guard in China & Taiwan (at Chiang Kai-Shek's Mausoleum) the passage would be temporarily closed off to the public. Plus while they are on duty as long as you are not obstructing them (blocking passage, touching, etc) they ignore you just like guards in front of Buckingham Palace or here.
