Way back in the day, its departure airport (Kai Tak) was just as difficult an approach as the Canarsie Approach. This is needed to avoid interfering with the approach to LaGuardia Airport.

@kazi92 yeah, you can't really tell from the video...it's the plane on the 13R as i pan over to the airport. You'll have to trust me.
