My late Dad served as a conductor for 27 years on RT's, RM's in North London then Stevenage before the 2 man crew buses were withdrawn. I grew up as a young lad in Stevenage with those 2 man buses and latterly the likes of the RP's, RF's, Leyland National's, SM's, Metro Scania's and often used to venture into the garage to see what was going on, watch the buses being washed etc. Fond memories of diesel fumes, oily smells and playing darts or snooker in the workers restroom. Happy days.

Very good indeed , good to see the RT,s in stevenage. My how its all changed in stevenage as regards buses. It was better under London transport .
