I’ve enjoyed watching this a few times now. I went ahead and grabbed these paints to give Dark Angels a test run. I have an old combat patrol just collecting dust. Emerald Forest is missing from the paint list in the description.
I love it! I found my Dark Angel color recipe! I intend to add a dark lining step to further separate the armor panels; what color would you recommend?
Wonderful stuff for beginners. Question: if you are doing the same with a mini that doesn't have a dominant color, would you skip the airbrush and just go to color blocking?
Possibly the greatest tutorial intro of all time.
Maybeeee 🤔 Haha, thanks!
“Use it like a flamethrower” that felt like a personal attack but was also something I think I needed to hear.
Haha, speaking from experience, honest.
😂 definitely.
Love the longer form content, great to see a project from start to finish.
Glad you enjoy it!
Agreed
Thanks Sam, the advice on the airbrush was especially helpful to me. I'm gonna try it this weekend.
Best intro yet. I hope the tutorial is half as good. UPDATE: The intro was just an appetizer of the goodness to come.
Haha, glad you enjoyed it!
I wish I hadn't been drinking coffee, when I made the mistake of watching the intro :) Great work as always.
Haha, ope! Thanks man!
Clean AF😮
The best color 🍏
Shout out from the land down under, just ordered your “The Art Of…” book. Always Appreciate Your Work Mate 🙌
Thanks so much man!

Wonderful stuff for beginners.
Question: if you are doing the same with a mini that doesn't have a dominant color, would you skip the airbrush and just go to color blocking?
Thanks! Yeah, I suppose I would. Generally I'd plan something to have a dominatn color though, if the intention is quickand quality.
Awesome video, kerp the great work coming.
Thanks! Will do!
Looks amazing. Thx again man.
Cheers!
Looks awesome Sam, and very approachable. Good work!
Is there any reason you didn't use any wash or panel lining in the green armour?
Thanks! I didn't think it needed any. Doing so would enhance it for sure, but every step takes time.
Possible to get a color icon on screen? Or a list of paints used?
Yup! There is a list of colors used in the description. Cheers!
Good stuff man
Thanks, Jake!
Hey dude! What PSI do you spray at with your Airbrush?
At least 20. You want enough pressure to atomize the paint. Cheers!
I'm really confuse if Stern guard vets are either bone colored or regular dark green. Since they are first company. But this video sure is inspiring
Kick ass
Huzzah,, simply awesome sauce.
Looks amazing! Do you have any suggestions on the armor for those of us without an airbrush?
Do you use sable brushes with metalics if so are they your good sables or more used sables
No, synthetics for the metals. For me at least. Cheers!
Nice
Very sick shirt
Agreed, so much edging
Entendres are like paint: you need many layers
The full video can't be better than the intro, so instead of watching I'm deleting my account and becoming a monk.
Bless your path, Chromatic Warrior. We shall meet again ⛓️
Proud owner of the filthiest airbrush on the internet lol
I have to see how far I can push it. I must..
These intros are too much! 😂😂😂
Youre an angel witch, youre an angel witch!
