    Entertaining presentation. I just bought one last week so it was roomier for my dad. I love it! AWD, sunroof, heated seats, heated steering wheel, power seats, the list goes on. One review said it was boring to drive without much pick up. That's completely false.

    I just picked up this Trailblazer RS in red. Got all the packages: sunroof, dual-pane, panaramic; Convenience package; adaptive cruise and soumd package; driver confidence package. Really like this vehicle. I also have the fully loaded 2024 Trax 2RS and love that one as well. The difference, other than appearance, I think, are the Trailblazer is a little smoother ride, larger on the inside, the center console and door arm rests are slighltly softer (but not much), power drivers seat in the RS model, but a negative is that the Trailblazer is louder with road noise than the Trax. Really love both of these, of course I got the AWD version of the Trailblazer.

As I said in my other comment, this is just another piece of South Korean GM trash (the Trailblazer is assembled in South Korea).

    • @yesmikedanger
      @yesmikedanger 6 месяцев назад +3

      So the big differences are the upgraded engine, AWD (for those who need it), and the two tone paint. But besides that, they’re pretty similar. And tbh when I drove the Trax last year in April, that engine isn’t half bad.

    • @automotiveaffairsshorts
      @automotiveaffairsshorts 6 месяцев назад

      @@yesmikedanger GM could have chosen just one model, Trax or Trailblazer, and offered that as base FWD or optional AWD. Two very similar sized vehicles with the same (base) engine and styling, is only likely to confuse buyers! Plus… given what the Trailblazer was 20 years ago, this new one (along with the one it just replaced) is just not doing it for me!

    Not even made in North America. I would buy a 2001-09 Trailblazer a million times over before I even touch this sad excuse of a trailblazer. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

      Do you remember which trim? And what didn’t you like about it? Just genuinely curious 👀

      @@yesmikedanger it was a mid-grade LT AWD trim. It was too small cargo-wise (IKEA+Costco run), the infotainment kept freezing on us, the heated seats on level three got way too hot a couple times, the auto stop/start was very intrusive, and it wasn’t great at going up hills. It was all distracting and made me nervous on the road. Silver-lining, it was a judicious fuel sipper.
      We were booked for a mid-size SUV and this is what Avis gave us. It was just not a comfortable place to be with all the plastics either. The seats were fine. I don’t remember disliking them. We are 5’10 and 6 ft. 160-175 lbs. Very average adults. I don’t remember head room or seat position being an issue.

      @@Jojoba-wz6ri hey thanks for sharing that! I always wonder what people experience with a ride that they just flat out don’t like. I mean different strokes for folks and different needs, but sometimes the shoe just doesn’t fit. Appreciate the honesty!
