Thanks for sharing brother. I'm used to 25-40 ton splitters doing 8-10 cord of firewood at a time for different families. For smaller wood like your pile and not running into the thousands of dollars to purchase, probably a good buy.
    Many blessings

Coolness. Just watched the top ten electric splitters. This one made 4 out of 5 badges for good quality working.

We have a gas powered splitter. Appreciate the info on this brother. I have never seen an electric splitter in action.

Thanks Donnie and Jennifer for demonstrating. Looks easy enough. Curious about durability after that entire wood pile is done. Keep us posted.

Its located on the front with a wing nut. Idk what will happen using it closed. May BURN IT UP. or blow out a seal or some thing

It would come in handy in a SHTF because you could run it off solar. And it will be faster if you just bust and turn and get another log on before it moves back far. THis is just me but I would change that power switch so I could be moving splits and getting another log while it's splitting

Cheaper then an emergency hospital bill for landing it through your foot

You should first check the hydraulic fluid level to make sure they put enough in it! Then open the vent screw at the end of the cylinder so you don't blow out some seals or burn up the motor. You should make sure you know what you're doing before giving a review.

There’s a wingnut in the front, unscrew it and it will allow the pump to vent and give you more power for the log splitter if you haven’t done it already

I bought a Boss electric 7-ton splitter a couple years back. Best $400 I ever spent. And IMHO the one-handed operation is a big plus--and probably safer than the two-handed, which leaves your face right over the log when it's working; when one of those dry oak rounds pops as it splits, you'll get a face full of firewood fragments. No thank you.

You didn't open the bleeder Value. Got to open it up 3 or 4 turns, Then when your done. Need to close it off

Suggest that the slower final travel speed could be due to limited hydraulic fluid or air still in the system. Place the log against the wedge rather than the pusher. Try to keep the end against the pusher square. Keep safe.

@@trwilkinson4623 There are 2 speeds on them. Hard pressing the faster it goes.. and compression I think its silly to have 2 travel speeds on them, and 2 compression strength on them 👉👉 I always use the fast and hard speeds

That splitter doesn't work as it's supposed to,especially during the second half of the travel.Maybe you've got air in the system?
