DSi and DSiXL both have built in wi-fi and web browsing abilities. With the older models, you had to plug a web browser cart into the GBA slot. I'm guessing you could take your DSi or 3DS to a coffee shop with unlocked wi-fi to access the content.

Since clearing Dragon Quest 9’s main game, I have had absolutely zero inclination to play any post game content. Good on anybody that does, let me know what I’m missing.

In grotto you aim for 5 star gear that is way early game I do it because other is going to use cheat for 5 star gear
If I downloaded post game stuff before and then started a new game do you have to redownload in the new game ?

What do I do once I go to private dns? It just shows me a Hostname to fill and once I do nothing happens. Please help

How do I set up a primary dns?
It should be one of the fields when setting up a wifi connection on the nintendo ds side
