Wow, 10 minutes to color 2 leaves. I need to spend more time on my leaves. I tend to "cookie cutter" my leaves. I'll try harder, maybe I'll try your way. Thank you for sharing. You color beautifully.
This is So enjoyable…actually enchanting to watch. I am just learning how to do this. A long way to go..! But you are a fabulous help..! Thanks. Nebraska.
Hi Emily, love the variation of shades used in this. Will def keep them in mind. Especially like the ones in Magical Jungle as there are so many lol!❤️
Thank you so much for a wonderful video today great video on shading and How to color leaf thank you so much my dear friend. I just decided to start doing some cold and it felt good to watch someone show how to blend the colors together and make them look beautiful and the shading part also hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie thank you so much for a great video today
wow, this is a game changer for me. I am new. I have been using one colour for all my leaves. lol. green! Now i am not afraid to come out of that box. thank you
Just loved what you did here, so exciting to now go and apply all I learned by watching. One tiny suggestion - it would be wonderful to have a few seconds to see the final result of each leaf (you moved on so quickly!). Helps to absorb the result/effects of all the layers and blending. Thank you for your content!
A lot of times, it depends on my mood, but I think generally, I'd do the full cluster of leaves at the same time. So, like, all the dark green, then the mid green, etc. It helps when trying to remember what color order I'm going in.
WOW! Thank you!! How do you sharpen the German (I believe that's what they are) pencils? I don't trust myself to use a knife and I've tried to locate a sharpener that fits that shape but have not been able to, so far.

@@EmilyIllustrator Sweet! I'll be ordering these ASAP. I appreciate your help and expertise in coloring. Thank you for sharing your wisdom/talent. Looking forward to watching and learning more. 💗😍
@@EmilyIllustrator up until recently, that was the only Johanna Basford book I had because the paper was so awful, I never bought another! Only found out recently that the paper had improved!
Not my favourite type of video because you have to concentrate too hard on what is happening on screen (I can't multitask and do something else as well as watch). I enjoyed it all the same and will probably watch again when I can concentrate on it a little more.

Thank you for taking the time to teach me. I appreciate your zooming in so closely!

I did not know that you can use alcohol markers in the book. They work really well. Thanks for showing!
Adding this to my ASMR list, so relaxing!
Beautiful, Emily! Thank you for sharing your talent!

Hit the left arrow on your keyboard to go back 5 seconds then space bar to pause. Problem solved!
Team rewatch.❤❤❤
Thanks!
Ok thanks
I really enjoyed this
Love the color poison that you use but cannot find it online. Can you tell me who makes it so I can order one. I love your coloring.
Merci pour cette vidéo justement elle va beaucoup m aider
LINDO!🤩
How would u describe poison color? I have prismas so what would come close to poison?
When you're colouring would you do all the leave at the same time or 2 at a time like in the 1st video?

What pencil is MN?
Those are the Black Widow pencils from the Monarch set.

@@csillivan7 Any time!
Do you have a copy of the original Secret Garden, with the rough paper? It’s impossible to blend in that version 😁
I do! Tbh, that copy is gathering dust on the shelf. :)

@@ArtJourneyUK oh yes! The paper is amazing now!!
Very nicely done , it would be nice to specify which color you are using as you go along!
Thanks! I did. I put a color annotation on the video everytime I switch a color.
For instance, at 2:14.
She does...at the beginning and then everytime she changes color
Awesome... Looks so alive??!!
