One of the best leaf tutorials I have seen.
This video to me, is brilliant! For some reason, be it your wonderful method of teaching and the way that you describe and illustrate everything so wonderfully, or that I am having some ephiany inside my head, but everything as far as learning the different ways to color, highlight, and blend leaves has finally "clicked" in my brain!! I've been learning adult coloring since about July of last year however, due to unforeseen illness, I have been unable to color since about the end September last year. So basically, everything that I had taught myself from the point on, I am re-learning. And I must say I am learning much better at this point in time. I am really delving into color theory and the color wheel and as you mentioned learning the difference between colors such as cool and warm and monochromatic and so forth. Because I truly feel that if I want to create colorings even the tiniest of tinies as beautiful as yours is, I must first learn about colors and how they act together and/or complement/contrast each other. Thank you so much for taking the time to do videos such as these for it has been a tremendous eye opener for me right now. I am actually about to look through more of your videos and see if you have any on color theory and what not. Speaking before I look, if you do not have any like that, would you consider making some? You have a tremendous talent for teaching, and I feel many many people could learn and benefit from you!! Thank you again.

I just watched the first couple leaves then went and tried it. Just that little bit helped tremendously. I don’t do well on leaves. Thank you. This helped a lot!. I have a question. How do you color a cluster of leaves all group together? If pick one technique, do you follow the same technique for all the leaves? Thanks
Great video and a lot of options
Warm greens are my favorite. The cold greens with a blue base not so much.
But the blue tone colors will give you wonderful shadow and will make you picture pop more :) All colors are useful in their own way. But like i always said, use whatever colors make you happy!
