I have purchased several books and have been loath to start coloring as my confidence has been very low. Dear Olivier, well i know it's not a new tutorial but to me it is, Please don't ever be sorry for talking to much, first of you have a Golden voiuce and i love to ear you explain every techniques and why you do this or that you are LIFE SAVER to me Olivia, for me doing Flowers is a pain LOL! i have so much hard time to gave the look i would limke they have but i always struggles with these and at the end it;s a big mess so i'm more then POlease you had created thisd tutorial who really HELP ME understhand how to do these step by step and achieved a Fantastic looking to Flowers, that's why i love heard you talking because everythings you say is very Helpful & intelligent and it's that way i understhand what i do wrong and what i should do so speack sweetie LOL! I really love your Blue Flowers but sadly they had no colors or anythings under more i guess iut;s because you had to upload this tutorial, so if by any chance you remember the Blue colors for these Amazing Flowers i'll be more then Grateful id you could send this colors combo if not that's find has i follow all of your tutorials i will finish by found a Blue floers you will color. Good Morning Olivier, I cannot find the color descriptions for the blue flowers ?? Im sorry if they are posted and I missed them....Perfect tutorial. I watch your leaf coloring and learned so very much. You're an amazing instructor Thank you for your time.
This is a re-upload as her previous account was hacked, she forgot what pencils were used. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out though. There's a cream and a light green like with the pink ones, she says chartreuse or apple green, something like that, and then at least two mid blues and probably a light blue too since it's better to blend in a gradient. You don't need specific pencils, just colours in the same sort of shades. Get a scrap piece of paper and make some swatches with the pencils you already have and compare the tones to the video to make sure you're close enough. Cool with cool, warm with warm. You'll find it much easier to follow tutorials if you can pick similar colours from what you already have rather than only using the exact same products. Just make swatches on scrap paper before you commit to anything in your book.

Olivier could you please give us advice on coloring huge areas like a lawn at a house, or fields around a house? Or a large area like a lake.
I did a grass tutorial. I will see if i have time to do more of those type in the future! 😊
@@OlivierOdorant I saw that, and I love it, but it is only for patches of grass. Those huge open areas is very difficult like fields, meadows, etc in nature scenes.

Hmmm I don't quite remember the colour combinations but try prismacolor: mediterranean blue, indigo blue, sky blue light, cream. The centre of the flowers are the same colours as the pink flowers ☺️

It would be very helpful for a beginner if you would slowly give the number of the colors you are using. It seems like you are using Prismacolors
