I read some articles but none to copy and paste. The white oak or any oak for that matter causes the soil to be acidic. Also the shade given by the trees is not good. So they recommend removing or topping off the trees.

Thanks Lester for the walk about. I don't get to walk outdoors much any longer. (Almost not at all.) That was very relaxing & so peaceful. Even the fan noise didn't bother me. You are so right, Jami has done an amazing job with all her plants & garden, so beautiful. I can no longer play with my plants or yard & makes me a bit sad. Just getting too old & decrepit,👩🦽 lol. LHL's is so beautiful. The pond and new spill way is working out very well. Its finally fixed . What a weight lifted from your shoulders. Jamis flower garden looks beautiful. LHL's is so beautiful and peaceful. I hope after all the work and effort that you put into it, that you can hang onto it for Les and for ISS refuge in times of flooding for the babies and family, which you know is a certainty and will be needed in the future. There are so many memories there. It is a great place for the annual boat races and other family gatherings. That being said, I know that you have to make the best decision yourself, and no one can have an issue with you for that. Love you both so much and will always stay with your channels no matter what you do.❤❤❤

Hello Lester. Fun fact, walnut trees do the same, when the nuts fall off the tree it’s shelling poisons the grass so it won’t starve the tree. The casings off the nuts put the nutrients back in the soil to help keep it from dying ❤

Jami has definitely learned so much about gardening over the years and has now created a wonderland for her home. This is where she finds her peace and calm when she needs to relax. Watching things grow gives her such pleasure to be able to share with others too. Longhorn Lesters is an amazing place that not only has Jami made beautiful Lester but you have made beautiful with your pond, fences, bridge, barns and the spillway you had created. You also had so many trees removed to create beautiful pastures that you keep so well maintained and gravel driveways. The sign leading into your ranch is stunning

The pond is looking awesome! Seeing that the Spillway is working is such a relief! U & Jami are amazing people that have such big beautiful hearts!! The fact that you guys made a contingency plan at LL not just for yourselves & the babies u care for but for family AND THEIR babies as well speaks volumes of the kind of people U & Jami are!! The pond is looking awesome! Seeing that the Spillway is working is such a relief! U & Jami are amazing people that have such big beautiful hearts!! The fact that you guys made a contingency plan at LL not just for yourselves & the babies u care for but for family AND THEIR babies as well speaks volumes of the kind of people U & Jami are!! Who wouldn't love to have a friend/family like you & Jami! So glad that Jami has found her passion in plants & she's done an incredible job with them all. That's amazing!! Actions speak louder then words for all that you 2 do!! Many many times you have brightened my day & made it so much better!! The mini donkeys have scored as far as them being moved to IMS! The thing that sticks out to me the most with Megan is how she tamed Okie so that most people can go up & interact with & pet Okie!! That's nothing short of miraculous!!
