My father in law stained his pool using granular trichlor (gunite pool in Sarasota) any tips on stain removal. Also would DiChlor be a suitable substitute for the trichlor
David, I am thinking of changing from Liquid Chlorine to Granular Di Chlor for sanitizing my pool. Its fiberglass, and 13000 gallons. Would that be a problem?
I'm using Leslie's Chlor-brite sanitizer that has the active ingredient "Sodium Dichloro-triazinetrione dihydrate..99%" on the back as a warning it says do not pre-dissolve before use.....but I've been pre-dissolving it in a bucket of water. Should I keep pre-dissolving it or just broadcast it over my fiberglass pool? Mine is also 13,000 galloon FB.
The degister can use it too
What’s the difference between this and Tri Chlor?
Similar except Trichlor dissolves much slower. Dichlor is more for dosing and shocking.

Depends on hoe bad the stain is. It might fade over time. Send me a picture of it if you can - swimmingpoollearning@gmail.com

Shouldn't be a problem. Just stop using it in the winter to keep CYA around 80-100 ppm. You won't need to add to much each week for your pool size.
