Thanks Love! I put 2 strand twists in whenever my mind is right LOL It takes me about 7 hours, so I love when I'm mentally ready to sit down for 3 & 1 and then the final 3 hours and put them in small sized. Hopefully during the winter I'll feel the urge a few times to do them because they are the best for length retention.
True. Funny thing about the lengths...there's lots of fun things to be done at all of the different lengths. I loved my shorter length for the fact that I could get a nice cropped look with some soft rod rollers set overnight. Don't miss out on that!! Now that it's longer, it won't cooperate that way LOL! Thanks for the message Love!
Man I ne er even thought of wearing my fav headbands in these styles you presented "You go girl" I love your videos you are soooo CREATIVE! Fly Girl Keep those idea's flowing. Luv the music! ;-)
Hey Love! I think the co-washing helps. When I previously used shampoo on my 2 strand twists, I had lots of tangles (roots and ends). I don't put many products on my twists either. This set, I only used the eden body works moisturizer.
Hey lady! You look radiant as always! Im loving your twists (I think I would go nutty trying to do small twists LOL) and the styles are so carefree! Ps im gonna need a pair of those legs LOL.
U make me want 2 try small twists, but I just can't wrap my mind around it. When I do my daughter's twists it takes me about 6hrs spread out over a couple days. Maybe Thanksgiving w/e I'll finally give it a go.
I used Dark & Lovely's Honey Blonde--this was so long ago. One minute I'm looking for a new color, and the next I'm going to dye my hair blue black. For now I'll just chill. LOL!
I like to use mayo/olive oil/honey/avocado blended up. Sometimes the effects last for well over a week. I also stay away from harsh shampooing. Check out our blog if you haven't been through there yet. Also, we did a review on it (link in the previous video I think). HTH. Thanks for the message beautiful!
I like that song you were playing and your hair is beautiful. How do you keep the root of the twists from looking puffy? How long does it take you to twist your entire head?
I don't find that they permanently loosen the curl pattern. When they're applied, they lay heavy on the hair shaft, so that makes it look like it loosens it at first. Once rinsed, my curl pattern is back to it's usual. No color changes noted for either. Supposedly they are to help with avoiding grays? I think I counted 15 the other day, so I'm keeping track LOLOL. I love the herbs for their conditioning properties and ability to cleanse without drying (prep hair with oils b4 use). Thanks Love.
You can wet them no problem. Make sure don't rough them up in the shower. Condition them and air dry some. Then tie down with the satin scarf. That's been sleeking my hair down (trust, mine are fuzzy too, I just sleek it down with the scarf) LOL! HTH --tia
smh. my mini twist look old after one week, smh. I've been retwisting weekly. (I know, lol) I don't see how ppl can keep them in for a month and have them still looking nice, any tips? maybe it's because I wet them? idk, :/
Looove I can't wait till mine are that long the versatility are endless.
LOVE the twists. I'm always a happy camper when I put them in. Now that I don't dread the take-down--I'm all good. Can't wait 2 c yours

Hey Lisa! If your hair isn't already long enough, it will be in a minute :o) Thanks for the message Doll
Thanks Love! Did them on blow dried hair (tension method)--not to straighten it or else it would lose the texture that it needs not to unravel
