I am born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Just went to Ireland a few months ago for my honeymoon. It was unbelievably breathtaking! Also, I’ve been watching your videos for just about the last year and love each and every one of them. Keep up the endless adventures!
Ps: if you ever come to Alaska again, stop by Girdwood, Ak. There’s the most amazing waterfall called Virgin Falls and let’s just say it’s one of the one amazing views. ✌🏻☺️

When I was a senior in high school in 1975, we marched in Dublin's St Patrick's Day parade. We traveled all over Ireland, but The Ring of Kerry was definitely our favorite excursion. Your video was amazing, but it's even more beautiful in the sunshine. I do remember being nervous riding in a tour bus on that skinny road. Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories. I love all your adventures.

That's so cool Allison, my mother's maiden name is Griffth too! Her dad's family was apparently Welsh. Having just done an Ancestry test, I came out almost 3/4 Irish which was a surprise since I was born and raised in England, as were all of my family going back a few generations. My grandmother's maiden name was an Irish one though, I looked it up and it came up as an Irish clan, lol. Loved the video, glad the rain didn't deter you guys from seeing the beautiful Irish landscape.

I absolutely loved your Ireland adventures! They brought back so many happy memories from my winter Irish road trip a few years ago. I’m also so excited that you’re coming to Australia!!!!!! Please consider coming to Adelaide. It’s a beautiful city with great food and less than a 2 hours drive to some of the worlds best wine regions (Barossa, Clare Valley, McLaren, Adelaide Hills). We also have beautiful white sandy beaches (that aren’t overcrowded), a “glacier” hike, a giant rocking horse, Australia’s Little Cornwall, teddybear fence, Hahndorf a German town, hikes with panoramic city views, and so much more!

When you go to Australia go to Alice Springs then Ayers Rock and do dinner under the stars. The dinner is a territory taster that consists of camel, alligator, emu etc. After dinner a man with a very powerful torch points out the Southern Cross and other stars / constellations not visible from the north. You can also do a helicopter flight around Ayers rock.

I did a bicycle tour of Ireland, and it rained the entire time we rode the Ring of Kerry. I think we biked it in two days. In general, it was an amazing way to see the country, but not so fantastic in the rain. I tended to not look up as much, and didn’t take many pictures on those days. Still, it’s an amazing country, and one of my most favorite places I’ve ever been.

Australia tips from an Australian - Great Barrier Reef. But be careful way more jellyfish stings this season Byron Bay, excellent people, food and beaches. Drives: great ocean road from Melbourne. You’ll see rain forests, wildlife, spectacular scenery. Unless you like 45c plus weather avoid the outback at this time of year. It’s beautiful but the heat will melt your face off.

In visiting Australia consider Tasmania. Bruny Island is amazing: oysters, cheese, wine, beaches, a lighthouse, and a lot of short walks. The Tasman Peninsular is lovely: Port Arthur Historic Site, the Unzoo, chocolate, gin, history, beaches. The Huon Valley: cider, apples, tiny towns, wilderness. And of course Hobart: the waterfront with seafood, locally made products, artisan food and drinks, the history, the views, the mountain.

Ireland and Europe in general has wonderful scenery. The US as a continent (and yes I know Europe too is a continent), like Australia has vast areas of almost flat land which becomes monotonous. I have taken trains across bo0th countries - glad I did it, but only once is enough. There is a section in Australia I recall between Adelaide and Perth which is 1,000 miles of straight track - the novelty quickly wears off.
Alison's comments about the drivers was prescient given the later car accident they had when someone hit them.

If your going to Australia one of the nicest places is Byron bay on the Gold Coast it has some amazing views from the light house and just such a relaxing atmosphere if your not going when the schools are out as it is the place to go when on school break

Benn Brown have you been to Byron lately? No longer the chilled out place I remember. Crammed with Sydney-siders and backpackers. Good luck ever finding a parking space. So sad.

Comes to Ireland in the middle of Winter and complain about the cold and weather. when in reality Irish winters are very mild and seldom drop below freezing compared to other countries on the same latitude . its kind of bonkers coming to Ireland in winter , its best to experience the country in the summer when the days are long and its bright up untill 11 at night .

If you get a chance come to Adelaide. We have so many foods to try. A real south aussie classic is the pie floater. We also have some great wines in the Barossa Vally. Plus so much more.😁

So excited you are coming to Australia!! If you need somewhere to stay in Sydney, my sister has a great little cottage for rent. And cheap rates for mates! Check out Camelia Cottage on HomeAway. Blue Mountains are a must as well as Hyams Beach and the Jervis Bay National Park, south of Sydney. The whitest sand in Australia plus kangaroos just roaming around on the beach! Just don't go on the weekend...too busy. You must do the Bondi Beach to Bronte walk too!
