You were crazy to think you could sleep on hay in a barn in winter! In summer it could be fine. Have done it myself but not in winter. That little buckling or a buck was the star of this vlog 😊

Just spent a month with our family in southeastern Slovenia. Wish we could have shown you the vineyard and farm! Your host in the little wood house is just like our brother!! My husband and I were laughing as you walked into the house-there was already snapps and medica on the table waiting for you! So glad you like the food and the country! Ours is a different experience, even though our home is not that far away from where you were!! Different styles of food -same beautiful countryside! Contact us next time you are in Slovenia! Hey! It's not a burger, is a lepinja with pleskavica. :) With onion and ajvar..and mustard apprently. Beside the pleskavica, you can have it with čevapčiči. It's not really an authentic slovenian dish, but very delicious though.

Try mućkalica; I have loved it when the first Yougoslavian came to Germany and have opened up 'Balkan restaurants' in my country. I have much more liked it when I have travelled to Luče with my Slovenian friends in 1978.

Come to Serbia we have pljeskavica and that spread on is called ajvar
