Good vid on process but no spec details. Also did you check sc gear’s especially the water pump side? Serious issue on some. I like the harmonic and chain part. 👍😎
@@robbyrobstardiyauto3624 This red mini R52 convertible that I fixed is from tea tree gully. He paid $1500 at BMW Adelaide, nothing happens. 2nd quote was $9500, what a joke, hence I gave him a hand to fix it - ruclips.net/video/BAzQCbCZt1E/видео.html
@ronaldpum yes I remember this video. I'm wanting to do my rear main seal but a little nervous. Big job for me. Plus i think my cv boot is broken. I'm not sure if I should get slogged by bmw or attempt myself.

Write down notes in order with torque specs. Decide what you want to replace now or later. These things are worse than a sardine can so it’ll have to come apart again. Digging into my R53 spring time. New clutch, sc service , timing chain, gaskets , sensors and serious hp upgrades. Long list and won’t happen overnight. Take your time and don’t guess. Do the job right the first time. Good luck!
Thanks mate - next thing to fix is the exhaust rubbers in the middle near the O2 sensor. The middle part of the exhaust rattles sometimes on idle. I will also show further info on ISTA+ using icom or kdcan cable.
What a clean job bro. If you are just here in Perth I would bring mine to you😢

Where did you get ISTA from?
How did you get the oil cooler and oil filter housing off?
I used a 90 degree adapter that I bought in aliexpress, really helps get into those tricky areas
@@ronaldpum could you please share the link? :)
