    My mother was diagnosed with mbc. I am very stoic man usually, but I couldn't hold back my tears. It is so devastating to hear my dear mom has this terrible disease.

    Really hard for care givers to take time for their medical tests. They need help also getting to checkups, not going alone, and lunch afterwards.

    My mom lived 18mo (she was 55) , of inflammatory breast cancer. My dad passed when he was 27 of Hodgkins. Sad .😢

    I was part of a clinical trial double blind study but I very unfortunately had an allergic reaction to the chemotherapy drug Paclitaxel not the clinical trial drug

    With all due respect to the Oncologist here, she is naive to think she has any idea about what It's actually like to have metastatic breast cancer. I feel it is disingenuous of her and also very arrogant to make this assumption when in reality she hasn't a clue what it's like to live like you're dying every day.

      You are right in one sense, some doctors cannot get past the science, and even though they try, thankfully they are not in our shoes.
