What’s even more astounding is that when she was governor of Michigan she was the one to sign the new mining law (part 632 signed in 2004) regulating the non-ferrous metals mining industry (ie Eagle Mine and Nickel and Copper etc). It was written to regulate the Eagle Mine as it was the only non-ferrous metal mine in Michigan(still is for now). They lie to our faces and think we are stupid.

@ZzXZ636 how many miles? The reason Honda and Toyotas are so good is because they are CONSISTENTLY reliable and last hundreds and thousands of miles without any issues. Most ford and gm products are quite inconsistent in this respect. Yes, some of them, like yours, are good, but many others have transmission failures, and other catastrophic problems when they should be breaking in (like 70-100 thousand miles). Not like the Crown Vic, which was completely unbreakable, and many of the old mustangs from 2005 to 2010, which were outstanding. So I’d say about 2013 onwards is when they started to go to crap.

Those are not good things. The alternative is to mine some of the resources here in the US, where we can control the human and environmental concerns. This administration has chosen to ban mining for these resources. Some think that is a good thing...and some think that is a bad thing. That is where the debate lies. As we all know, this is political theatre. As entertaining as this may be watching 'mayor' Pete squirm, this questioning will change nothing. It's a ruse designed to have the appearance that accountability matters. Good public policy which benefits constituents is a demand that must be a condition of continued support for elected officials. Lip service and sound bites are not enough. The American people deserve so much better. Fight for it. Your mileage may vary.
