Coincidentally I’m in the middle of a game of splendor on BGA as I started watching this. I had never heard of For Sale until I got it from Eagle-Gryphon in a donation to my board game club and now I swear I see it on so many lists. Floriferous is one of our favorite small box games as well.
Yeah, I'm sure you're right that Floriferous is quite good. Still on the fence as far as purchasing. I've researched it before and can't remember why I haven't quite pulled the trigger. Still open. I'll probably revisit it soon. Look forward to your small card games video.
Splendor really is one of my favorite games ever. I have the expansion and Splendor Duel. Looking at the new Pokemon version, but I'll wait to see if it comes to the US. Not spending extra to get it from Korea, especially when I'm already very content with the copies of splendor I already have. Am I hyped for it? Yes, but I can wait :)
I think mine has to include Bohnanza. That game changed card games for me, with the fixed hand. Maybe Fantastic Factories as well, I'm not sure if it's fast enough to qualify, though. Floriferous looks very interesting! I should try it.
This is a first...I own 4 of the 5 games you talked about--Splendor (I have Splendor Duel), Century: Golem Edition, Azul, and Floriferous. I agree! Smaller, faster, easy to learn/teach and easy to table games.
My gosh! Narrowing it to just 5 would be daunting to me. Floriferous would be in my list, but I would have to add Biblios and Lost Cities. Maybe even Sunset Over Water. 😄 Oh - and Canopy!
You've got fantastic b-roll footage! You've convinced me to give Azul and Floriferous a chance, and I'm interested in trying Splendor and Century: Golem Edition.
that shelf bent gimme anxiety

I really like these picks. Another fav of mine is Biblios: Quill and Parchment.

Aw, thanks! Have fun:)
Thanks so much! We're always looking for lunch-time games with small footprints. How well does Floriferous word at 2-player?
It's good for 2 and even solo play!
Great list!
Glad you think so!
pocket master builder
last dungeon pocket
firm with brownies
adamastor
haze island
Ibwould challenge Tsuro to be in this list.
Really concerned about the shelves behind you. The weight has bowed the shelves so much. Hoping the games won't come toppling down on you one day.
Kinfire Council vid when?!
By the end of the month!!!
