Love videos like this short and simple that get to the point without all the mumbo jumbo. But very instructional. Which is all we are looking for. Thank you. I’m new at this and always looking for these quick and simple videos
Thank you! I've been wasting tumblers trying to perfect that seamless look. Such a simple thing that makes a HUGE difference!can't wait to try when I get home.
My Craft Bestie shared this with me today as we we.are both working on Sublimation Tumbler's and omggg the squgee method made a huge difference as well as the painters tape. Thanks so much for sharing and I'll be sure to check out more of your videos!😊😊😊
Thank you for the video and please do another one with the steps for the newbies out here. I would have liked to see what the paper looked liked before you started wrapping, ie how much overlap etc.
Hi Celina! It’s been some months since my first video but I finally made another one from start to finish. Please check it out. Hopefully it helps 😊 ruclips.net/video/wGVcMhKVx4I/видео.html

I'm about to try this NOW! OMG those few little steps abbout the air and using the squeezee to push out the air!! I'll let you know how it turns out!! THANK YOU CHICA!!
@@wendyvalerie6624 sorry for the late reply but it definitely can. Just make sure to put a separate piece of paper around your image. If you don’t then the tape most likely will bleed through.
I do my tumblers @ 350 for 6 minutes. I normally don’t turn my tumblers. However, If they are all red or black I will do 350 for 5 minutes and turn half way through. These colors tend to burn more quickly. I hope this helps ☺️
Thanks for making this video. Is there a guideline on how big the overlap should be? I overlap and sometimes I get a colored vertical line down the tumbler where the overlap was. Any suggestions are appreciated.
idk what i am doing so wrong to still be getting the ghosting/white lines..this is so frustrating..there is some of my tumblers to where it comes out perfect and then its the ones i am working on now that is driving me BANANAS!!
Great tumblers and video. As for your image, did you Google the Starbucks logo and add it to your chosen background? And thank you for sharing your awesome work and knowledge.
I use MakerFloCrafts tumblers. They measure 9.4x8.1 I highly suggest that you purchase a fabric measuring tape and measure your tumbler. Not all manufacturers make them the same size. It might be the same in ounce’s but height and width may be different.

@@sarahrobson9479 I honestly cannot say, I’ve never used the blue heat tape. I do know that getting the paper tight is key. I tape tightly and then rub along the rims to make sure there is no air pockets. There should be no leeway with the paper
No need to do all of that taping. Get the Promowares 20 oz flat bottom tumbler. Tape the side where the seam meets. No need to tape the bottom. I did have to put one strip of tape at the top. At 365 F I had an awesome tumbler 50 to 60 seconds later! I have been struggling with ghosting at the top and bottom for over a year now and many tumblers and frustrations later, I have found the game changer. The flat bottom tumbler is the way to go! Now I have to work on my seams. One thing at a time...
Thanks for your tip but I personally don’t like the flat bottom tumblers but this is useful for those who do. I did however find a much wider 2” tape on Amazon that has been a game changer for me. What do you do when the wrapping paper does not meet around. I have a 30 oz water bottle that when I wrap it the paper its not bif enough so I'm afraid if I put the tape straight to the tumbler that it will leave a mark since I use the yellow Heat tape

Hi Emily! I just posted a start to finish video with a little bit more details on using my oven 😁😊 please check it out ruclips.net/video/wGVcMhKVx4I/видео.html
It’s not necessary but for beginners it helps with keeping the image tight against the tumbler. If the paper is even a little loose it will cause fading. This method prevents that.
Honestly, I do not know since I do use an oven. I have seen others do it and I think it would help but make sure to put the tape around the butcher paper because the glue from the tape could effect your image. With that said, a press already gives pressure where an oven does not so you might not need to go through the same process as I do.

I don’t add too much of an overlay, maybe 1/8 of an inch.

Yes, it was ☺️

Both look great!! How do you make it look like it was a round image and that both end sides are connected? 🥹
How much do you overlap? Do you you leave a tiny bit of white on one edge, or do you cut all white off?
I leave about 1/8” overlap. I will be doing a full tutorial from start to finish soon. Hopefully that video will help.

Why do you not user wider tape and place it longways to save time and tape?

why butcher paper?
Painters tape is really sticky when heated, this prevents the glue bleeding into my image.
