Hope this tutorial will make it more accessible for everyone! But for the sake of keeping the tutorial short I’ll post some FAQ’s here for people having trouble with this glitch! Q: Do I need Savage Lynel Bows specifically for Menu Overloading? A: No, any multishot bow works. You can farm duplex bows from Yiga members for the easiest multishot bows. Q: My horse wont go up the stairs! And he keeps sliding down. A: Try not to sidetrot the horse using ZL. Instead walk the horse slowly forward up the stairs, stop, then face the wall, then press R3. This is a way to forcefully pivot the horse, and reduces sliding. Q: I keep getting the same weird jump over and over and never the one you mention. A: There’s no 100% method for this unfortunately, try to adjust your horse’s position slightly and try again. Always remember to have your horse’s rear legs raised so it’s pivoted downward. Q: Why is it called Model Teleport? A: When you unequip a shield while in mid-air, the game pulls Link’s model in strange directions, called skewing. This is a special skew that causes Link to teleport his model hundreds of meters away. If you want to see it, go frame by frame at around 2:16 after the unpause, you’ll see Link’s model zoom into frame all the way from the Great Plateau. Q: When I pause during Model Teleport, I see Link standing up in the air. A: You paused after releasing D-pad left too late, you have to be faster. Q: I did everything right, I got Link to disappear, then I threw the item into the Master Cycle and the glitch didn’t activate! A: Two possibilities, one is there is a VERY slim chance the glitch auto-activates without the bike, you’ll know because you’ll see the item immediately float away after you Hold Smuggle, then you accidentally deactivated the glitch by using the Master Cycle. Second is the item is stuck in the air nearby before you threw it into the Master Cycle, you might want to 360 around you and see if it is. If it's in the air, you unfortunately have to start from scratch because the bike will eat your smuggle. Q: You didn’t mention the Extended Shield Clipping method! A: No, for the sake of not overcomplicating this with a much more difficult method I chose the easier one to cover. If you knew about ESC’s then you probably already know how to do this lol.
Empty your pockets then pick everything back up, balance a magical rod on your head, do a backflip at a 32 degree angle, then grab a bunch of food from your pockets while your in midair and drop it upwards so you bend time itself, get ready to throw the strongest weapon in the world at at 24 degree angle towards the rising sun but as you release the weapon from your hands sneeze violentally and do 3 backflips on you shield against a wall. If you did it all correctly, and assuming you arent struck down by the gods themselves... You can now play as Luigi

@@SomeGalNamedEve That happened because he was in master mode and the guardian was regaining health. Actually, it regained that bit of health. I hope I answered your question. :)
> why didn't nintendo do this as a real mode? Well, I'd say because half of the normal gameplay method being unable to be used in 'first person' is pretty much a giveaway, that it wasn't intended.
That doesn't answer that question at all! Clearly it's not intended as things stand, but if it were intentionally coded and tested (which apparently wouldn't be difficult since you can trick the game into doing it on its own), it wouldn't have those drawbacks. No way they'd release the feature if it had bugs.
sometimes stuff like this already exists or was attempted in the game but it's turned off or not pursued for various sometimes minor reasons like, "bug 1000 - barrel colludes with weapon artifact" and because of deadlines or other priorities they are never enabled. personally, i'd be ok with "first person feature with some bugs" options. as long as you can turn it off or on.
I tried this in vr, and it was honestly pretty underwhelming, it basically just projects a 2d rectangular screen in front of your face. If you're just looking to do some first person vr sightseeing, I'd honestly recommend just getting a bow that zooms in and holding ZR
Omg thankyou so much this glitch is so cool I went to gerudo town first btwthis took me hours cause im not all that great at glitches but it was worthit
There's a new way to do this this that's a lot easier, no dlc needed, and can be done anywhere where you weapon smuggle, unequip shield, throw bomb, reequip shield, hold zl, hold any item while still holding zl, switch melee, and use the camera rune and pause at the same time and then walah! First person
I haven't seen anyone point this out yet, but he seems to not be loosing arrows. The arrow count stays the same every time he fires one. Perhaps it has to do with Link's model, and therefore by extension, his bow, not being there?
when dropping bows with shock arrows equipped its not using or shooting arrows, its just the bows with the shock arrows equipped that take more internal game memory
Sometimes the arrow quantity freezes up in first person. But when you pause, the quantity will be updated. I've done this already and defeated Ganon in first person.
