BOTW's Absurd Glitch That No One Talks About

- We dive into one of the most intense glitches in Zelda: Breath of the Wild called Super Menu Overload, where the fabrics of reality fall apart. Just how difficult is it to do though?
In the video above, we explain how and where the glitch works, and its ridiculous process of setting it up. For this video alone, 10,800 weapons were duplicated just to understand and share how this glitch works. The ability to freeze arrows in place, lose entire body parts, and kill a gold Lynel with a flood of thrown weapons sounds enticing, but is it worth the mental stress of achieving the glitch?
This was an absolute HEADACHE to make, but hope you guys enjoyed the video! :D

Always fun to know the ins/outs/how's/etc... but I would advise a flashing/strobing light warning for those prone to seizures
@@OurHeroXero It's at the beginning. I thought maybe they added it after, but there is a comment older than yours that points out the warning, so it was there, you just missed it. Lol

have you realized that link is really thunderblight but without the thunder and blight? i bet if you slowed the game down when thunderblight does his super fast attack, you'd get normal speed.
This is actually true. For us, its slowed down but it doesnt slow down for them. They just see him swinging away like a flash of light
Alternate title: link gets his hands on a machine gun
so I'm actually playing with something similar, I used a save game editor to add a bow with very high quick draw rate that essentially makes it a machine gun. It's a lot of fun.

If I had gotten the game the day it came out instead of 2 years later, it might've been me. I do strange things when I'm bored
I kill everything in sight when I'm bored. Horses, bugs, enemys, bosses etc... just everything my betty eyes see dies.
There are lots of people who dedicate themselves to breaking games in such manner. So it would be those people who sat down and thought that.

Here’s the real question; who decided to throw *600* weapons in a menu overload?

I feel like in most games with duplication bugs, someone just sees how many dupes they can do before something breaks
They probably had the memory overload theory and tried methofs like this as opposed to randomly deciding to throw 600.

The warning at the beginning absolutely DOES NOT capture the severity of the flashes that come two seconds later lmao
Why not? They warned that there were flashing lights. I personally didn't think it was that bad altogether (then again I don't have epilepsy), but they gave you a valid warning I think it certainly captures the severity.
@@xiphactinusaudax1045 It was a very run of the mill warning that you might see in any show or game that might have a few brief flashes here and there. However, the speed and intensity of the lights in this video far outweigh those other examples, therefore it came as a surprise that they settled on such a mundane message at the beginning. And I apparently wasn't the only one to think so either.

My arthritis ruined hands wouldn't even try to attempt this, or even use the simple sprint stamina exploit.

Hey, there's a controller called the Bitdo Sn30+ that can be programmed with macros from a computer- it's something I've been looking at buying for BoTW stuff because of my arthritis, so maybe it'd be something of interest for you too?

My little brother managed to use the Camera Rune to make a Guardian permanently despawn. He also learned how to go into bullet time from the Master Cycle Zero. One time, he rode up in front of a Bokoblin, went into bullet time from the Master Cycle Zero, and somehow spun himself _behind_ the Bokoblin and shot it in the back!
My baby sister also lined up two Moblins in such a way that one of them kept throwing rocks into the back of the other Moblin's head until it died!
This video is an absolute banger, as always!
I've tried to perform this glitch like 8 times in the past, but it always crashed after about 30 minutes, so seeing this video makes me realise what I did wrong.
However, I don't think I am going to spend any more time on this 😅
Every time i see a a BotW video with Rin on it, I click on it literally as fast as humanly possible.
You know you have created an awesome game, when big communities still play and talk about your game constantly. BotW is one of those rare masterpieces, staying interesting for many years. It may only put out of it's place by it's predecessor, and if that game won't be as intriguing, BotW will keep it's special status for many years to come. It seems like this is our modern Mario 64.

imagine if this worked on dragons (i assume it doesnt because that really wouldnt make any sense)
i actually tried this. after failing several times i got it right and each throw gets multiple items from it if thrown correctly. i ended up with over 600 in total of scales, horn shards and claw shards
How do yall get mutliple shards I only can get one a time like i shot the dragon 9 times and they hit and nothing happend
@@rtx_voidyt3765 you normally aren't allowed to receive multiple items from a dragon at once, so must be part of the glitch

Oh my god Rin, I’ve been trying to attempt this for two days and got so exhausted quickly and never even got to do Throw Gatling properly. You’re a mad lad, excellent work.
Even if Throw Gatling seems relatively simple, it’s like everyone’s games are different and either just weapons disappearing from your hand isn’t enough to perform it (based on experience).
Nevertheless, you explanation of Super Menu Overload is easily understandable and I hope this video pops off because I cannot imagine the kind of pain you went through just to achieve this. I find this harder than DBG overload which requires entering and exiting the Dining Hall 200 times lol

This is the equivilant of gathering a full Triforce, and wishing to smite a Lynel and conjure a fuckton of halberds.
How the heck do people figure this stuff out in the first place?
There's a glitch that I discovered with a savage lynal crusher and any shield. First equip the crusher and the shield. Second pull out the weapon. Third while the savage lynal crushed is in the pull out animation, equip a different two handed weapon then equip the crusher again. The shield would start floating until the savage lynal crushed gets put back.

Lol I just found THE strangest glitch I've ever seen. In the Hebra region, there were tons of these tall weirdly shaped ice poles that just appeared out of nowhere & slowly shrank back into the ground. That's it. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen in this game. Even got a video of it.

Campfires under water (I know it sounds weird but a campfire can break or smother out if it’s place on a ledge and falls in water) 20 under water and 100 or so weapons underwater can get you to walk under water. It’s called collision overload. There’s like one video floating around I think by Kleric.
ThornyFox made a video about it, I don't believe Kleric has a tutorial though

Glitch i found is an invisible person sitting under a tree in the highlands, people walking sideways like they are in a laying down position still, once i stopped a horseman from his journey and i got him walking circles in a never ending loop lol

I recommend Vah Medoh, the Rito/bird people Divine Beast. The ability you get for completing that one makes getting around a lot easier.

I found something interesting a weapons attack up modifier is made by how much is the difference between the normal damage and the current weapons damage.

So to clarify, when you take off Link's weapon at the end, that is theoretically freeing up one "object slot" (or maybe just a tiny bit of memory, idk how games work anymore lol), which is then used by one of the invisible Lynel Swords until it immediately breaks, thereby freeing up the memory location that object/item was occupying?
Is that what's happening here more or less? Also, is Darude Sandstorm's Protection necessary? I the animation essential for some reason, or can I do it without? (I guess I'm just wondering if you've gotten so good at this game that you've forgotten that that button didn't initially do that lol)

What happens if you menu overload using multi shot bows, then dupe a multi-shot bow over and over and keep dropping more bows... will that work?
Out of Subject, my Switch is overheating nowadays, any fast Tips to solve that Problem?
In or out of the dock? If it's doing it while in the dock set it in an area that's cooler if possible or at least in an area that's not poorly ventilated. The dock it comes with isn't great for cooling or airflow either so could try buying a 3rd party dock which are generally better designed for maximum airflow. If the room its in is hot already then that could be the problem whether its in the dock or not.
If it also does it while out of the dock then it could just be because it's already really hot in the room or outside where it's being used so it's just constantly taking in hot air vs cool or it could possibly be just the fans going bad. How long have you had it? If you or anyone in the house smokes cigarettes (Not saying you do or asking for verification) it could also be affecting it since it cakes and stains objects, especially fans.
Only advice I could give really. There are other videos out there though if you do have to replace the fan for example otherwise you'll just have to send it in if you don't wanna risk it, especially since they won't fix it if tampered with.

If you shoot an arrow and then talk to an NPC while the arrow is still going, I will just drop after you end the conversation. If you do the same thing with an elemental arrow, whatever the element was the element will just stay there in the air for a decent amount of time.
y'know, something you probably shouldn't do when a video starts with a photosensitivity warning to to change the speed to 2x
