I'm honestly just astounded that he devs made the planet curve, like there's no reason for the game world to be anything other than flat, yet on the horizon you can see it curve just like irl
they didn't, he lied
@@thebe_stonehow do you know
@@thebe_stone you can definitely see it on the video though
Ever heard of a skydome?
how
I really hope that in Tears of the Kingdom we see enemies actually fighting and interacting with each other instead of just with link.
Edit: YES I KNOW THEY CAN INTERACT NOW IT'S GREAT.
they wont, these are just things that werent intended to happen in the game, because they are all made/over the control of ganon's malice
edit:me after seeing the third trailer:🤡🤡🤡
(I will come back with an argument when my game card finally arrives, fuck royal mail)
@@MommyToldMeImSpecial You don't know that. It could still be in the game.
@@googlewolly why would they attack each other if their common objective is killing the hero?
@@MommyToldMeImSpecial they may be under control of ganon's malice but they still act like Monsters AKA animals
@@MommyToldMeImSpecial Because not all enemies may be on the same team. We don't know where the story will go.
You can "kill" blupees.
It's not based on damage, rather how many times you hit them.
Glide from above and shoot as many as possible in slowdown mode. They won't die, but they will poof out of existence. Means you got the max ruppee count out of that specific blupee.
I usually use 3 bomb arrows with a multishot bow.
I think it's damage taken or rupees dropped.
It's like with Satori.
You hit it enough times and it poofs out of existence.
If you hit it with the one-hit obliterator it poofs out of existence instantly.
hmmm, maybe because he is german?
Regarding the enemy weapon breakage thing, an enemy's wooden weapon can break by being on fire for too long, so it is possible.
Yeah! I saw that happen yesterday! Lizals sitting by the fire, accidentally set a spear on fire and after a while it burnt up and he looked at his claw.
Yup
Not the same thing as a weapon breaking when an enemy uses it.
Regarding the twilight bow, enemies will only try to pick up weapons if there are no weapons in their hands. You attempted it agaisnt enemies WITH items already equipped.
The fact that weapons have infinite durability when used by enemies but break when used by Link infuriates me.
He's so strong he breaks them lmao
@@swagmiredoesall yeah bro, in another video the guy says that to parry a lynel and stop it in it's tracks link need to parry with enough force to send a rocket to space, it was funny
@@david95ms That was based off a zeldamaster video and its even more insane feat because he didn't calculate that link not only doesn't move but he also knocks the lynel back several inches. So you have to multiply whatever he said for each inch. He's swinging that shield with enough force to level a skyscraper on the low end. Not to mention him being able to parry fucking trees and Boulders that weigh tens of tons rolling down cliffs at high speed
It would be kinda annoying if link got the weapon and it’s durability was super low
All the more reason to use an emulator. CEMU comes with an infinite durability cheat.
did you spam the L button to try to soothe it?
Yeah, there is no way to ride it unfortunately

Technically, there must be an upper limit, since coordinates are stored in variables, which have certain data types, which can display only a maximum value. If there is an overflow, it starts either from the minimum value again (maybe even teleporting link to the lowest point of the world) and/or the game would crash. Might be wrong though
Chances are the coordinates are stored in a floating point number, a data type that doesn't overflow like that. If it gets too big it will be replaced with a "too big to represent" error code style special value.
As it approaches that size the magnitude of the number gets bigger and bigger, and the limited precision of floats means smaller adjustments will be cut off completely, so you would lose the ability to move around normally. You would only be able to move in large enough increments and your movement would become choppy.
If the renderer doesn't account for these kinds of magnitude differences then the graphics will become incredibly glitchy as rounding errors would bump mesh vertices all over, eventually disappearing entirely due to lack of precision. Either that or the meshes themselves would be bumped around by a lack of precision because the translation/movement portion of the mesh transformation is applied last and each vertex in a mesh should receive the same accumulated error.
but you can at least say it is at least mostly infinate, considering that if the gamecube and N64 can handle hights so high it takes over an hour (or multiple hours) just to free-fall back to the ground, then it is likely unreasonable that limit ever would be reachable with anything other than manually setting the coordinates.
Same goes for negative height value, after getting out of bounds, I've let Link freefall into the abyss before I gave up and warped out.
@@mettaursp309I found the programmer 😁
nah you could just use a bigint
@@kevinconnors2430 Those don't make a very good coordinate type for high performance environments like games.
BigInts have inconsistent processing time & memory requirements. They also make it very difficult to have cache coherent simulation friendly structures.
It also sacrifices all precision below an arbitrary magnitude, further limiting the use cases.
You'd also have to convert them back to something like a float when sending them to the GPU anyways so it's just unnecessary complexity with no tangible benefits.
There are two upper limits in botw. The first and lowest can just be surpassed with the moon jump glitch as you did, and the other is so high it would be almost impossible to tell you hit it. Doing something like the guardian spaceship glitch or the minecart airship glitch would show the lower limit as it will just make you smack your head into an invisible ceiling.
I remember reaching that first limit with moon jump more than once… is Linko playing on a fake (pc? Idk) version of the game for cheats or am I missing something
@@BetterNevaia No you can pass it I think it just depends on what frame of your jumping animation you're on. I've never hit the first limit with moonjump. I only hit it when I do the guardian spaceship glitch or the minecart airship glitch. Try doing it at a different part of the map. I think some parts of the map might have thicker barriers because they're higher up, and you'd be more likely to reach them.
@@cewla3348 yeah that's pretty much what I was saying. I didn't know exactly how they worked
i always hit the limit when i moonjump
@@thebe_stone thats weird because I tested this after watching the video because I knew there was a limit because I've hit it with windbombs and minecart hovercrafts. When I did it I went through the barrier. I'm not sure what could be causing that inconsistency
I use the master cycle because it travels better than a horse like up hill over rocks and stuff I feel like its traveling is more diverse plus can drop off high things
The best part about it is you can spawn it anywhere. Otherwise the best "vehicle/mount" would be the minecart airship imo as it's easy to fly anywhere quickly and quickly along any axis. It feels super satisfying once you have it down.
@@swagmiredoesall you can spawn a horse with ancient armour anywhere as well
@@mugincoffe Yeah I know, but it's not as worth it as the master cycle imo. Also unless you happen to find or raise a tier 5 horse it won't be faster anyways, and the master cycle can travel over more types of terrain than a horse.
@@swagmiredoesall I think the max stamina horse is not that rare, you just gotta find it near the big horse. Also, wdym by "raise"?
@@mugincoffe I meant ride it until its stamina rises, but yeah if you have to find one it's even more worthless as opposed to just using the master cycle.
It was so soothing and relaxing seeing the guardian get pummeled by the talus
I just bought the dlc a few days ago. Playing master mode for the first time. It really forces me not to brute force my way through a lot and I'm more self aware of my weapons + inventory. I love that this is how I pictured BOTW in my mind while playing normal difficulty. It has a ton of changes.
I believe that enemies can actually break their weapons, but it doesnt use Link's durability variable.
It has to be the fourth hit in a combo to launch the enemy away
Kudos to putting the thumbnail question first. Made me watch the rest of the video
Thanks for answering the question first then giving us more to watch after. Makes me wanna watch through the entire video
There Is A Height Limit, You Can Surpass It However With Apparatus Bomb Arrows. There Is Also A Shock Arrow Above The Height Limit.
If it's a wooden weapon and it's lit on fire it'll break but that's the only exception. Great video
It only makes sense that a weapon can't break in an enemies' hands. Whenever you pick up a new weapon from an enemy, whether they used it or not, it's always in sparkling condition in your inventory
I remember on my first playthrough I found the giant horse quest. I stumbled upon a Lynel and figured out that I could mount him for a little while. I probably spent an hour trying to tame him, assuming he was the giant horse.
You gotta redo the spring hammer, it only does knockback on the 3rd hit
About the height limit. I think a faster way up would have been to construct what is known as a "flying machine." It's the contraption that can be made by putting one minecart on top of another and then using the magnesis rune to pick up the bottom one while Link is on top. Getting the balance right can be difficult at first, but once you get it down, you can fly around at a decent clip.
Nah cuz that breaks easily infinite jump is slower but it can't fail
I tried that and it seems to hit a limit much sooner than the moon jump. After you reach a certain height, there is a barrier that causes link to be pushed down, as if a wall was there. Didn't know moon jump bypasses that limit
Moon jump is incredibly easy to pull off, the flying machine takes a lot more work and can break very easily.
The best method would be apparatus storage bomb arrows, since you keep exploding with no input needed, I'm not sure it's the fastest but it's entirely afk
Bro, this is botw
There actually is a height limit but it takes approximately 9 hours of moon jumping to reach
bro is part of the "i studied the youtube algorithm for month" club he definitly knows what hes doing he probably has experience growing other channels too

From all other sources I've seen, there is a height limit. You have to use a glitch that makes Link keep blowing up with bomb arrows to get past it.
3:58 On switch there is 100% a sky barrier
this channel is so underrated! in 3days making 2 SUPER good vid, good for you
🙏❤
So if weapons used by enemies don’t use durability, what if you give it a weapon that’s already used some durability? Does it stay the same once you take it back, or would it reset to its max?
I'm pretty sure the durability stays the same, I've had it happen on accident and my weapon didn't have the iconic star flash the new ones have
tears of the kingdom needs co op
Regarding the Spring Hammer, maybe the enemies CAN bounce you away with it if we saw them hit you more than once? Since I'm sure that the bounce happens on the third hit or something, not on the first one.
The height limit is 5000 feet. You can test it yourself by trying to spawn a platform higher… it won’t. It take over 30min to drop from it lol but that’s the height limit
This was proven with the max damage possible video where he does over 130k hearts worth of damage
how does this guy not have more subs and likes? he makes great content.
its a new channel???
His main german channel has more subs
its the clickbait for me
It's the recycled content from other zelda content creators that had no effort put in + being wrong on many on the myths + clickbating.
There’s not a limit for link’s max height but there’s an invisible barrier that items cannot breach. This can be discovered using the minecart stack airship glitch (minecart flying glitch) or whatever you want to call it
This for sure. I did the glitch, thought about going as high as possible, then hit the barrier
Yup this same "item barrier" exists on some sides of the map too, The channel Kleric has an indepth video on it.
0:57 "luckily i am *GOD* "
The moon jumping glitch be like:
Zelda: "Link, wake up. I need you to defeat Calamity Ganon."
Link: "One moment, Princess. Need to do something first." *Fucking yeets into orbit*
the parry bomb thing didnt know it was a myth, I see alot of people in videos do it all the time xD
The small channels are always the best
1 they never say “ REMBER TO LIKE AND HIT THAT BELL!”
2 they have good content that’s real
No you're the best!!
"can link parry his own bombs?"
me who uses that in combat:
'I am 4 parallel universes ahead of you'
I haven’t seen anyone do the master cycle zero experiment I have done. Using all of the stamina of the horse without waiting for it to replenish isn’t really a good way to show which is faster over longer distances. So you should redo the test with waiting for them to replenish after each button press or wait at the end and then figure it in. If you do this you find that getting from one edge of the map to the other makes the master cycle zero faster because you don’t have to wait for the spurs
It makes sense that they cannot pick up the Twilight Bow because they are afraid of the Holy Light comming from it.
The Question that comes up in my mind now is how they carried the Master Sword in Skyward Sword inside of a cave?
Maybe they wore gloves to not be effected by its divine powers?
watch this man get a million subs and i was here to watch it happen ;D
3:00 I have a turbo controller that will do the button pressing for me :>
I'm pretty sure that mobs can use the spring hammer when they hit you normally
2:33
Ganon-ball
😫🥖👌
really good video when i saw you only had 22 subs i was genuinely shocked lmao
0:32 The clip of the horse on the left is actually sped up.
Look again! They're both
oh
It's almost like Nintendo knew people would bother to reach so high up and that it'll be impossible to prevent, so they made the world round just for that little attention to detail that we can all appreciate.
There is a height limit, if you try to climb the tallest mountain I think near gerudo you won't be able to get to the top because it says you went too far
Missed opportunity to use the infinite stamina + hang glider after jumping to height limit
i really liked that you instantly deliveredthe answer to the titel of the video and didnt just do clickbait. stayed for the entire video. good job👍
I subscribed because you got me good with that duel!! I really thought the Guardian was gonna win lol. Rest in pieces, me.
Thanks for the red arrow in the thumbnail. I never need it but I appreciate it when content creators do it
The thing about the max height is because back when the game was new people used to align two mine carts in order to fly up, but at a specific height they would stop rising and would drop link, leading people to believe there was an invisible ceiling. In reality, it's just that objects in the game can only exist within the confines of a box that covers the whole playable area and that box has a height limit
1:15 Interesting because even hinoxes take lava damage
You can even parry a bomb.
Or dodge it.
That last one is a technique in high end fighting to initiate a flurry without an attack.
I think there is a height limit you can reach when going up via elevating carts with magnesis. It makes sense that the moon jump glitch wouldn't reach a height limit
how do u only have 37 subs!!! great vid 🤩🤩
The Guardian/Talus fight is largely reliant on whether the players influence one enemy or another. If you stand on the Talus' thing, the Guardian would be able to hit it more effectively. If you freeze the guardian and sit under it, chances are the Talus will take the free shot at it.
In Tears of the Kingdom it totally should be possible to tame a special Lynel called Epona.
‘Can you shoot link with a cannon’: yes it’s called wind bombs
Krank the tallus just became an "Iwarok" lol 😂
I don't know what version of the game you have, but there is definitely a heightlimit. I remember watching Pointcrow hit the heightlimit with moonjump on stream. Also the Motorbike is faster when wheeling. And last but not least, you can wrong warp out of the Great Plateau and run around outside. You will void out the moment you face the Plateau again. If you wrong warp into shrines 4 times and get 4 orbs. You can then unlock all of hyrule without the Sheikah Slate.
About mobs not being able to damage weapons
I must add that woodeb weapons Can burn in the hands of an enemy
Yea but I dont really think it's the enemy breaking it it's the fire it's a different set of damages even for link
@@shelliblossom8953 yes its a différent set of damage but bokoblins purpososely burn their weapon to make more damage so ofc it's not the same type of damage but they technically Can damage weapons
Also could the durability resets when a different character gets it?
The fact that they created an entire fuckin planet just to make Hyrule the only place you can explore is crazy imo but it also makes me curious as to why they did it like that.
The limit is the atmosphere. Even Link needs air.
They probably didn't give Lynels lava vulnerability because they just aren't in that area.
Congrats on 1.1M views! 👀 ✨
Your videos are refreshing in the zelda genre keep up the good work thats what i wanna say as a zelda youtuber myself
give the guy credit, he actually put the clip that the video is named after at the BEGINNING of the video instead of after 10 minutes of filler (if even there at all) like most channels do to artificially increase their channels watch hours
"Luckily I am *GOD*(with the deepest voice you ever heard)"
Your underrated as hell.Keep it up!
Hyrule looks like an entire planet. That's awesome.
there is an airwall in the sky to prevent you from jumping further up, its just nigh impossible to tell if you already hit it or not. Kleric bypassed it by, quite literally, blowing himself up with bomb arrows. If you’re curious, you can see it in his video where he goes off to get the shock arrow hidden in the skies of the Gerudo Desert.
Only certain mobs can pick up Bose so your toilet protest needs to be redone also there are several different types of attacks from Bob's so you might want to test the spring-loaded hammer multiple times
Oh wie fein, mehr mhyten die ich meiner kleinen Schwester erzählen kann😈
You can do the moon jump thing if you have a controller with turbo mode. Practically when this mode is activated, when you hold a button it's like you're spamming it.
I found a channel named thornyfox(the guy with the badly drawn mario pics) do it all the way into space but not past the height limit(probably) and he died
@@tntri1488 i know him, I already watched that video. I would think, for tears of the kingdom sequel, almost a mission in the space or in another world. It would be funny exploring a new world with different physics and rules, now that we know Hyrule 100%.
Bomb parry is something I see Zeltik do a LOT.
Dunno why it would be considered a myth.
0:35 gow does taht horse have 8 spurs. the ancient gear only adds 2 not 3. 2:41 iIt is common knowledge that you can parry bombs, ppl use that with lynels a lot.
For Linko: there is a height limit its just much much higher
You should have kept that jump running for a few days and found the limit for real.
Under rated youtuber
The white stallion has 4 strength, 5 stamina, and 3 speed with a wild temperament, not 5 speed. Source is the companion guide written by the devs
Should've put the spring hammer on a bokoblin so it does a 3 hit just to see if it needs a combo, also testing if you could kill a blupee rabbit with Ancient arrows, kills most things.
New BOTW content person to watch? Time to see what comes next.
Gonna be 🔥
Massive props to starting with the subject of the video instead of teasing it to the middle or the end. That's a dumb cheap trick, instant skip for me. Made me watch the whole thing because I knew you weren't going to waste my time.
i knew of the first one.
ive tried. but it would be awesome even if you could just ride around its "battle arena"
There's actually a misconception when taming it's not how much stamina you have that decides whether you can or can't tame but how many time you press the sooth button
why is there an entire planet....
you actually can kill the blupees, i did it once, thinking they couldn't die and only drop rupees so i bullettimed and shot one multiple times
If you want to tame a lynel, then you have to get it to super low hp, and then mount it, there are videos on how to tame a lynel, but idk if its clickbate or not, hope this helped
Kinda funny that enemies cannot pick up a sacred bow, but can pick up the sword of evil’s bane.
3:28 they can break but only wooden weapons on fire I think cause I had it happen to me
Loving this series, Keep it up!
Before I watch, my guess is no... Cus your stamina has nothing at all to do with it. It will still throw you off it's back automatically.
That guardian got bitch slapped😭
There is actually a skybox that you can’t go past moonjump doesn’t work to solve it, a flying machine would work better to try to debunk that myth or you could go to the gerudo highlands at the west most side and try to climb on top. The reason why moonjump doesn’t work is because you are considered grounded at all times.
(2:33) I believe this is how windbombing was created, by using the explosion of a bomb to propel an object into link, sending him flying...
You scared me into subbing with your description, Gannon is creepy man.
The jump thing LOL literally made it curved too
I think the horse myth was excluding the boost. Try again without it, it is a lot slower when you dont boost with a horse
But why make a comparison without taking the absolute limit out of both? Nobody rides a horse without boosting. It's supposed to be close to reality.
@@cewla3348 Why would I lie? 😂 Try it yourself
