I am glad I just saw this. I ordered 10 holograph 110"s and figuring out paint schemes. I learned using color shift I have to use mineral spirits or stronger to clean that gun shew!
FWIW….I have and mainly use a HP-CS but recently got a Creos 771. The Creos has a .18 needle and shoots a LOT less air and velocity which is great for stencil and detail work. Creos makes another model (289 maybe, not sure) that also has the .18 but is less than half the cost of the 771. You are correct that the color description of the color shift paint you used is not what the end result turns out. It is very green. Just used some last night. Nice bait. Appreciate the tips
I'm hoping to start painting lures myself. I've learnt so much by watching your videos I can't thank you enough. I've been reading so many great things about UV BLACK LIGHT PAINT! Have you ever used them? Not the one's that dry in UV light I mean the one's that glow when UV light hit's them!
