Feliks 5.66 will forever be the most legendary solve for me. It was the final and solve of Feliks' untouchable streak of 3x3 singles. It was the wr when speedcubing started to pick off and become a big thing. The reaction is legendary, the turning is just soooo satisfying and its one of the last WRs where even intermediate cubers can somewhat follow along and see each step of the solve
Yeah maybe I should've considered that more, I'm surprised nobody commented it
@@ScoochCubing I think its mostly a case of when you started cubing to be honest. I realized that I don't really have a good reason for the 5.66 being the best other than the fact it was the first WR I saw, same way I don't really care for the 7.08 since it was already in the past when I started cubing.
@@bimpa1568 yeah exactly, like for the people who have been cubing for over ten years they would much more likely vote for Erik’s solve
@@ScoochCubing I saw Erik's on RUclips a decade before I started speedcubing, but it's still one of the most epic. And the interview after where he gives the girl credit.
I was having a sleepover at my friends house, wake up and watch this… pillow fight.
Did I just induce a war
i think the most iconic would be feliks' 4.73 it was insane when it happend even news stations (in australia) where talking about it and it was just an amazing time to be in the community when it happened also that mats valk was right next to him made it way crazier
Yeah that is probably the most legendary cubing moment
You chose some great solve choices. Honestly my favourite was Feliks’s so I was quite surprised at the result. You made a good point at the end
Yeah the Feliks solve could be the most legendary moment it was so cool
I'd put Jayden's 4.97 fail up there.
That's because the solution was actually VERY smart and also that it would've been a 3.63 which was years ahead of its time at that time.
Really? I never properly looked at the solution. But if I included it, it would’ve made the video too sad lol
@@ScoochCubing Oh yes
The solution is pretty smart right from the cross and till the last layer(he missed an easy cancellation into OLL)
And then did the wrong auf and 😭
@@anasjethva940 Wow, probably could’ve been a sub 3
nah wouldnt have been a 3.63, theres a slight delay on the timer display if thats what you were basing it on, it wouldve probably been a 3.9, especially considering he did the auf wrong, which is why he dropped the cube in the first place trying to fix it, still very impressive solve of course
@@Someone-hi1nt Yeah and I’m also considering if he saw he can cancel into oll, with that optimal solution someone like yiheng might have got a sub 3
9:45 who!?!?!?!
Great vid man!
lol
Thanks, and I wanted to use a cubing related poll and yours was the only one I could think of haha
Feliks Zemdegs 4.73 is my favourite. Everything is perfect about this solve:
-Broke Valk's WR by 0.01 second
-Valk sitting right next to him
-Kid screaming "Just as my SD card runs out"
-And the best part: Feliks has pyraminx in his pants
Honestly one of my favourite channels to watch. Always very excited for new uploads 👍
Thanks! Really appreciate it 🙌
8:39 pear a ming x
how the naughty word did you do that with a straight face
The 2×2 WR also is very legendary.
for me i think i would count the last felix record
gg
I think that was his 4.22 wr single? That was an amazing solve to be fair. His 4.73 was more special though I think
@@ScoochCubing yeah it is, but i think its good because its his last wr after yusheng du broke it
@@cuberoespanol5161 Oh yeah true!
I think Feliks 7.03 deserves a place here as it beat the 7.08 lol
Yea that’s a pretty special solve but I think it’s been kind of forgotten nobody would’ve voted for it haha
I also feel like feliks 4th or 5th solve in Worlds 2015 finals. Even though it’s not WR, it’s when he got back to back worlds wins, and back to back to back worlds podiums.
finally Max Park gets a 3.13
Surprised the 22.95 Minh Thai wr wasn't here it was the first wr and It started the history of aca results but fair enough
I actually originally had it instead of Feliks' 4.73, but after a while I changed my mind and decided Feliks' solve is a lot more iconic
Nah man the greatest sole is Martin Telesforo’s 4.41 😏
Damn I forget about that one
I think that felikses 4.73 was the greatest moment in cubing history but tymons resolve was the greatest solve
Thibaut Jackinot 's 9.86(first sub-10) was very legendary
Yeah it was, but I think it’s been forgotten about a little bit, especially because it happened when cubing wasn’t that popular
Feliks 4.73 is peak cubing. But, because of the long time between records,Max’s 3.13 is prob the best
4:35 you say u'll never understand how he did it with that much pressure but u did the same thing un Cork open 2023 for 2x3 nr avg. Definitely thought tymon would win nonetheless.
Yeah that was definitely the same thing. I would argue even better
@@ScoochCubing 100% still pressure on record avg
@@Cillain431 I honestly wasn't feeling that nervous for it cause while practicing the night before I was averaging like 1.7, also I +2 earlier so the average is already a fail
Great video scooch
Thank you mr jim
Nice editing :)
Thanks!
2:27 also Collin Burns got 5.21 which beat his previous record of 5.25 but it was a misscramble so didn't count.
Was that in the keaton lucas competition?
@@ScoochCubing unfortunangley no
@@TetraCubing ah okay, but yeah that was quite unfortunate. Not that sad though because he knew it was a misscramble straight away haha
@@ScoochCubing apparently it was intentional…
@@TetraCubing Yeah maybe it is
3x4
Awesome video man!! Very expected results here actually! Funny seeing my name at 9:46
Haha I was wondering if someone will spot that
feliks' pyraminx 💀
I didn't vote but I may vote Feliks' 4.73 for #1(Mats Valk saw the whole solve was very iconic😂), thinking about Eric's 7.08 and Yusheng's 3.47 which could be the #2, both of them was just too early at that time (and I didn't even know how crazy the community was because I started cubing at mid 2021 lol, but I know the 7.08 huge drop because I like to see the cubing history video🎉).
Yeah I think if people knew more about cubing history and Erik’s solve, it would have gotten a lot more votes
the gratest solve was actully your pb avearge 5's solve where you didnt mess up that Z-perm 😂😂😂
Damn I forgot about that one…
@@ScoochCubing LOL
Goodest video lol
Tronto's 16. It is a world record and a 3×3 solve
… true but like.. no
The 4.73 was the best iconic solve ever 💥
Yeah that could be the most legendary moment!
scooch i have a question: how do you do it that you can write your time in cstimer and i makes your avarage? because i dont have a official stackmat timer i only got a qiyi one
Recency bias is why so many people voted for Tymon
Yeah maybe. Cubing has been growing faster than ever before so it makes sense that for most people Tymon's solve is the only one they have seen since starting cubing
I would include the one from 2022world championships when they were doing like team 5 solves (idk how it works leave me alone) and one guy got like 3.10 or sum, and it didnt count as wr, cause it was team avg, not one person, i hope u know what i mean
Matty’s 3.08?
@@cxmerxz2200 yep this one
I think you’re talking about Matty’s 3.08 solve during that 3 man relay, that was such a cool moment haha, probably the greatest unofficial solve
@@ScoochCubingprob best solve done in a unofficial competition setting
@@lite8484 ruihang 2.68 was during warmup for a comp
Hi scooch cubing!
Hey 👋
Nice videos
@@Alexanderthespeedcuber14378 Thanks!
7:07 my main event is 6x6!!!
Wow really? Ok fair enough haha
@@ScoochCubing that's good, Im cubing for less then a year and if I have done my pb in comp it would have been nr8
Very epic video
Thank you rory
@@ScoochCubing your welcome Kalin
Probably now Max’s 3.13 would be kn the list
Kalin 7.01
Forgot about that
They forgot Mitch! 6,25! 😭
Yiheng's 3.9 because he got sub 4 single and wr/sub 5 average in the same average
my 7.01 xdd
Damn I forgot about that one
Why isn't my 5.55 here?!?
Bro thinks he's Mats Valk
Damn I forgot about that one
The meaning scooch plzzz sir
e
idk what to say but hello
Hello
erik is at no. 5 beacuse most of the cubers are new and they don't know about it
Yeah I think if only people who's been cubing for over 10 years voted in the poll, Erik's would be at least top 2
7:08 I care about 6x6 :(
Is it your main event?
@@ScoochCubing nope
@@curshburger4582 I rest my case
Im early
