Doing slow solves is important, but a common question is "how slow should I turn?" If you always turn the same speed your improvement plateaus, if you turn slow enough where it's still challenging, you'll be able to turn faster and still look ahead.
@@Matt-er this is pretty disrespectful if you ask me- refusing to acknowledge that some people solve it differently and aggravate them when they do use it. I'm just saying. Great video nevertheless though, it was very helpful

Super helpful thanks. Also, Do you use the Tornado V3? If so. I thought I know that cube sound. Lol, Also the cube looks the same exact way as mine after the logo rubbed off.
i presume you are past the point of sub 15 right, once you get a lot faster say sub 12 to 10 or even faster you can get like 13 or 14s with 0 lookahead just spamming tps, but its way harder when you werent past that point
Bro I'm still sub 30 its so annoying its probably because littery my cube locks up most of the time i just bought tornado v3 pioneer online now im just waiting but the problem is i dont have any lube:/
Man, that very first solve felt no faster than my 20s solves. Messes with my head. And I can do all my algs blindfolded and look around the cube while I'm doing any alg. I just don't see things very well.
@@Matt-er Yeah, I get sub-20 solves routinely every session, just not consistently. PB is 12.67. It'd be cool if timers had a distribution graph that laid out the percentage of solves at each second. Like, my global average across 22,000 solves now on Twisty Timer is 22.94 but that doesn't really give an impression of all the sub-20 solves I get. Like what percentage is 13s? 14s? 15s? I want all the stats!

i’m not an expert on lubes and i don’t have a lot, but i would recommend weight 5 and dnm from cubicle, and lunar from scs

you do not need look ahead to be sub 15 just be more efficient with learning f2l algs and full oll pll and sub 15 is pretty easy
