I was at this show! Memories of when I was younger..now I a grandpa😢
0:00 - Self Esteem
3:58 - All I Want
5:52 - Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)
8:52 - Why Don't You Get A Job
That song beams me back to my youth. We were young, the world was us, no limits, no mobile phones. We spent our focus on real important things like beers girls and punk music
Some of the best gigs i saw
I saw the offspring live in June '99 in Melbourne Australia and I can testify that this is pretty much the quality of their live sound back then. The only difference is these days, dexters voice is having a hard time
8:03 Epic and fantastic moment! The best jump from a stage to the audience! Yeahhh I enjoyed it!
Adore OFFSPRING
What a great sound!
i dont care if it's live or not, but this is amazing
it is live... They used studio audio on the "Give it to me baby, Ah-ha ah-ha" from "Pretty Fly" but live Higgins would hit the sample on his little skull things, to play the part. It's weird they overdubbed Dexter's "Ah-ha, Ah-ha" part- he was probably horribly off key...

3:00 Damn, I've always been impressed by the ergonomic efficiency of Dexter's down-picking chops. He makes it look so effortless!
I noticed that in some older videos. He`s no James Hetfield, but those are really fast downpicks.
total respect
Everclear and offsping good show
THE OFFSPRING, EL TREMENDO RECUERDO
Amazing tight show, hats off lol
Not a single person with a phone in their hands. Astonishing!
oh my god shut the fuck up
@@KingBlonde true
It's fucking 1998
@@tonyvercetti8056 no shit Sherlock!
GREG K on da bass! We miss you man
The Offspring for Music Awards
imagine if the sound techs was even as close to good as this at woodstock..
What was gonna happen?
@@kmpro3737 offspring on woodstock 99 was awesome, but the fucking soundtechs was shit.
To be fair, with all the bands playing one after each other, the techs (for each band) have a hard time having a short window to assemble, then disassemble the equipment after each band plays.
@@enikkss not dexter..one of his worst vocal performance ever!
Funnily enough Dexter is wearing the same shirt he wore at Woodstock
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
que hermozo es contemplar The Offspring
Fodástico!
I was at this show july 4 1999 awesome
jdm4589 I suppose this show was longer than only these 4 songs? I hope the full show emerges somewhere because this is my favourite recording
Dexter is dressed here exactly the same as he was at Woodstock 99
maybe he was looking for a little redemption from that debacle. at least no one chucked a bottle at his face this time around
@@dr00andrew this was before Woodstock 99
It was his attire for that tour.
Yeah, that T-shirt started loosing the color at some stage 😂 😂 😂
Offspring dejando la zorra, Típico !
10:15 Lol
Jajaja
XD
sao so essas 4 musicas parcero ?
Banda fuderoza🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
This T-shirt was loosing the color, then Dexter stopped wearing it 😂 They never wear flashy clothing. Always humble 😎
JAX WALKER ALEX DURAN 🎉 💪🏻
Dexter struggles a bit nowadays with some of his vocals. Having seen them twice a few months ago, they are still a great live act.
Which house of blues is this?
When Dexter still had a good live voice......
studio-re-mix.
dexter doesn't sing so well in live.
also, in "all i want" i can hear clearly 2 guitars. in 1999 they played this song with one guitar
Still, it sounds great
***** I can't really hear the second guitar, but I definitely notice the back up vocals do not match up to noodles, nor dexter at the end of the song. Either way, they're my all time fav for sure.
yeah! i love it anyway x3
mm about my comment, the two guitar are playing the same. try with earphones
long live offspring lml
Zet X yea I just listened to it with head phones and I can definitely hear two guitars lol
sound not live
but it is
I'm sure it has a heavy post-mixing and even some overbuds upon it, but the core is from the actual live recording. On their other DVD, Huck It, all live performance audio is fake indeed, just the video with the studio music. But this is real.
