The recent Ron Welty lawsuit filed against the band (dexter) is pretty damning, albeit there are two sides to every story. He claims that Dexter had stripped him of his creative liberties within the band by conspiracy of one. He wrote the drum tracks on a drum machine and gave them to Welty to perform verbatim. Now, Ron isn't all that talented on the drums or anything, but it makes sense as to why every fill is basically just a snare roll... This is amongst other shady things Holland was up to at that time. Don't take my word for it, go read it.
I see The Offspring just released their drummer due to his refusal to take the vaccine before their upcoming tour. I wonder if they will bring back Ron? Lol
@@offspringfan1288 ron already didn't want anything to do with them WAY before they went full SJW. He's better off uniting with Greg K and starting their own band and doing Offspring songs live on their own, since they are literally half of the offspring, they will do the songs justice instead of being sell outs
I wish they would have to but by this time they already had four albums with it enough radio hits to the point to where this was all that they were going to play
But on tour they played all conspiracy. I remember I saw them the first time in 2001, and they also played Huck it and Total immortal, the AFI's song they re-recorded for Me, Myself and Irene soundtrack
I taped BOTH this and the Live at Wembley Stadium show (THIS was on Much and the Wembley show i believe was on Much More) also on that tape there was 3 years worth of Ed The Sock's "Fromage"
Ron really made it look easy and effortless, didnt he? BTW, looking at the date, this is December 4th I suppose. I mean, the album came out in late 2000. By April 2000 Conspiracy of One was not a thing yet.
man, poor dexter. his voice was never in good shape due to countless touring and writing songs a bit too high for his range. here's basically a half-tone flat in the chorus of MMW (9:02) dudes got a good voice but unrealistically pushed it all the time.
ooof, you can hear that he'd lost his voice basically before the show started. In the interview sections you can hear the gravely sound of his speaking voice. Any of you ever been to a concert and screamed along, and at the end your voice is shot and feels weird? that's what dexters battling at this gig and you can hear it..
Well they only tuned standard in the studio but on tour they were always turned down, yeah that shit is hard to sing but I think it's the fact that Dexter was already almost in his mid-30s if these guys would have been in their early twenties they probably would have had better performances, and then his voice would have been like this 2008 or something when that one album came out
@@JudasPriest82 well, there osme songs that they play in the original Tune, Like Original Prankster and Hit That. Want you bad was played in original tune between 2000 and 2002 (althrough in this show they played it 1/2 tune down. maybe the first time they play it)
Bro, most rock performers don't even come close to his level of vocal accuracy on stage even when he's at his worst. Dexter's one the rarest who can sound very close to studio when he sings live
Dexter Holland you look so much baby daddy (personal privacy intruder, sorry), other guys....well, your music is life about. Many thanks have watched it now.
I really miss this lineup of the band. Ron and Greg are missed. Love this band so much.
Dexter is such an awesome dude.
bass player is so fun to watch....the whole band is :)
Bro the original lineup is like the best friend group

Awesome!!!!
primera vez que la escucho y la veo
I think they played it live when I saw them
In London England in 2004 and 2009

Ron is most special drumer for them 😔

The band hasn't been the same since Ron left. He was the perfect drummer for them.
Atom Willard was almost as good, jf was good on splinter, I'm not really a fan of Pete Prada though.
This dude rocks. I'm impressed
@@mmtot atom and pete are good drummers but their really just live drummers for the offspring
@@rohan750 Pete parada sucks. Atom willard its cool.
Atom Willard and Josh Freese killed it on Splinter!! Excellent punk rock album and great drum tracks.

The way that at the end noodles just jumps on them is hilarious... He is very rambunctious 🤣🤣😂
And I love dexters dimples... Also his real name is bryan, Dexter is his nickname but I think that Dexter suits him better...
One of my favorite bands :)
Saudades da minha adolececia viagen. No tempo agora. Recordacons do tempo do colegio. Po que saudades. Viva o rock.

Sensacional demais relembrar essa época! 🙌🙌🙌
During the 3´rd song Dexter´s voice was going sideways, so cool he recover for the rest of the sett
Yeah he was really struggling.
Mi epoca preferida de the offspring, mucha nostalgia

Aw man...I wish they'd play more of Living in Chaos, Vultures, and Special Delivery live. You just wrote them, why not play them? They're great!

It’s already on RUclips. But unfortunately I don’t have the ability to do so…

At 7:58 for the people that came here for
A lot of people think Offspring lost their way by Conspiracy of One. Ignition to Ixnay were the best eras.
