June 2021 FPV Crate Unboxing and Review

- Checking out the FPV Crate! This is my second box... and to say the least, I'm not impressed.

I go through the products and talk about why i'm not really impressed with this months box, but it still may be an awesome box for someone just getting started. I already have a Xilo F4 FC from my Xilo Joshua bardwell Edition Phreakstyle 5" quad.
A flight stack, a rad tee, props, led's etc for how much? 65? If so, that's awesome!
The response from fpvcrate on the recalled props is they plan on sending the replacements in the July box if they arrive in time. If not the August box. Crap.
The T-Shirt? Just searched up "DiveCoin" and it seems like a failed and no-longer used crypto. The official website is dead.

Sounds like double props next month. Same this was my second box.. Next box better be killer or I'm canceling. Had fresh prop blades pop off mid air.
Crazy. I flew the crap out one pair that came in the June box. Never did break them. I havent pushed my luck to see and tried another set.
I am thinking the same as others. I signed up because of the JB QAV build and this has nothing for that build. If it does not improve, I am canceling as well.
I contacted them about the props and thy said “thy don’t think thy are recalled”. I don’t know how you would not know if thy where recalled or not. A turd of a box glad this will be my last box.
Yea not great. Going to give it another month, because ethix are branded with the July crate, but this is pretty terrible.
Was the discount anything that helps make up for the contents?
Yeah, I was kinda disappointed too this time, and with the same experience - last month's box was very good, so I stayed, and oh well.
The lights are kinda cool, but they don't fit the QAV-S arms as they're too big, so I can't use them with the frame I got from them... I would have loved to! lol
I think that Gemfan will send you three sets for free if you message support. I did, still have to hear back from them - we'll see
im not sure how that works. i'll have to research it. I know if you buy the props that applies, but if you got them in an fpv crate, does that still apply?
@@aphyxfpv2883 yeah, in theory you should contact the store support and they should give you free pairs, I don't know about getFPV... They still haven't answered, let's see tomorrow

@@jtcustomknives they answered me to, here's the full email: "We've been told that our props are fine, and I purposely flew my quad full blast into a tree yesterday and wasn't able to break any. However, we're working with Gemfan to verify again that ours are ok and if they need to be replaced we will get them from Gemfan and send them out in a future box in addition to the props we would normally send. The problem with them isn't with the flying, it's with the crashing. We'll let everyone know by way of newsletter if any action needs to be/will be taken but we're on it! Have a great day!"
So basically they said that Gemfan told them they were fine, but they'll ask again and eventually ship double the props in the next crate lol
Keep in mind that you'll get free replacement props for those F4 props I would think. Gemfan is supposed to replace them for you for free.
But... uh... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah... that's a disappointing haul for sure.
An F4??? Wow this might be the worse box I will be getting from them. I have been a sub for about a year now and I am seeing a trend with them.
Same here this is my 1 year box box isnt worth the cost this time .
