The audio in this video was recorded with in-ear binaural microphones. If you wear headphones, your mind won't be blown, but it will go, "woah, that's cool."

Here on TheTopher, I'm known for putting a camera on my face and driving cars. Whether it's about any of my personal cars or reviews on weekly press vehicles, the goal is to give you an idea of what a certain car is like to drive or live with. Most of my videos are filmed in POV, with my clothes on, and (for like the 5th time) with in-ear binaural audio. Which, if I haven't made it clear yet, is why you should wear headphones. Because of the whole "woah" factor. It's there, trust me. Try it, it's pretty nuts. Or don't. As long as you whitelist me on your adblocker I'm okay with whatever you do or don't do with regards to headphone usage. That is all. Oh and I guess you should also probably subscribe. Why are you still reading this, you should be watching the video. With headphones! Hah, had to sneak that in there one more time. Later! Авто/Мото
That blue interior is SICK, BEAUTIFUL engine and car in general! Woooo
I love this type of blue. It's my favorite color
It is sick. Wish I can afford one
Kenny Cheung Same lol

@@zipyourlib8370 Ok, boomer
Dream car, right here. The 10th anniversary edition is incredible
Edit: I should mention there's a discrepancy in the reported MPG's. With the 8 speed, you can get over 30 highway, which is substantial for a V8
psnmadracer27 I would definitely wait for the new GS, offcours if it comes out
@Casper Gomez of course you don't buy it for the mpg's, but over 30 highway is, as I said before, substantial. And just because you can't afford one doesn't mean the rest of us can't. Check yourself friend
Casper Gomez Ok, mighty gatekeeper, enlighten us more.
How do you expect 30 mpg? Even the GS350 will have a hard time getting 25.
@Casper Gomez I agree. No way a V8 will be 30 mpg.
This is honestly why I trust your opinions more than a lot of popular car reviewers.
You: "I absolutely love this car based on the time I've spent with it on track, and I'm sure it'll be even better on the streets" {Proceeds to actually drive it pretty hard and not like an idiot}
Doug Demuro: "The GS F has *only* 467hp and is slow at a 0-60 of 4.5 seconds. Omg could you imagine someone taking this to the track? Lol" {Proceeds to only give it about 60% throttle in the driving portion after not shutting up about european cars, and trashes it the entire time mostly due to his inability to drive}
This has got to be one of the best vehicles ever engineered. Performance, quality, comfort, looks..what else do you want.
Yeah its a very underrated top notch sedan
If it had better infotainment it would literally be perfect
@@onlinealias622 they make an aftermarket CarPlay adapter. Spend a few hundred bucks and ignore the OEM.
A Genesis G80 with THIS engine would be surreal! Same for the LS500. The LS DESERVES this engine! Twin turbo V6 was a mistake.
Apple Car Play and or an Infotainment screen that doesn't put my life at risk to use while driving.
467 horsepower! What a BEAST of a car! Lexus really did something special with this one! Topher, you have my favorite test drive videos on RUclips and I've seen plenty of different channels, but you're my favorite by a Longshot. Keep up the awesome work!
There goes Chrisssss in my car! I have a 2018 GSF, love it. Congrats on your marriage! Wishing you many years of love and happiness!
That blue interior is amazing
I wish Acura would make vehicles to compete with this
CalisRemedy That would be dope. They definitely could if they wanted to.
peterseinfeld Honda is very conservative
TL Type S COMING SOON!
skbuoy I agree with you the new Honda Accord should’ve been an Acura because the rear lights are similar to the RDX...Acura has been lost for a while and they’re looking for their identity
Only the NSX right now
you don't have the overly excited, amped up on monster approach to cars that I see alot of younger car reviewers. thank you for this.
NA V8. Sounds so damn good!
2011 N52B30 Not stock. Lol. I drove the 10th Anniversary RC F and it’s tame af. Idk why Lexus does this.
Same engine as a rc f?
@@CoffeeMadeMeSay yes
@@CoffeeMadeMeSay same engine in the RC F, IS F and LC 500
I'm glad you mentioned about how smooth the 8 speed is.
Hey man!
Just wanted to say I’m enjoying your reviews. I like how you actually drive the cars and give your honest inputs. Keep up the great videos!
Congrats on your wedding. -- long time viewer from Canada
One of the most handsome sedans in the last 20 years. The 10th anniversary is killer, but one of these in black or yellow with the dark chrome wheels and yellow calipers takes my breath away visually. Can only imagine how breathtaking the drive itself is. Hope to have one in the next couple years!
You're so lucky to be able to drive this car - I think it will really go down as a modern classic. One of the last NA V8 rear drive sedans around.
Congratulations on the wedding
Hope he didn't get married to a guy. God wouldn't want that for him

I can't believe that I actually saw one of these special GS F's on the interstate while driving on I-65 south between Montgomery and Mobile AL. It passed me cruising in my Avalon ever so gracefully! I want one sooo badly!
The best contrasting color I’ve seen in a car: It’s unique and beautiful.
Congrats Chris! All the best. Love your vids!
one of the better reviews for this vehicle. everyone has been mostly negative since it's phasing out and they say not much improvements for the $$ but this review makes it very attractive and positive. nice job
Nice Video. Sounds like a super fun car like all the other GS models (GS, GS F sport). Blue is a so and so color for interior. Exhaust noise on the GS F is awesome. ;)
This definitely has the best dashboard of any modern Lexus. Very thick, manly steering wheel with a giant screen, everything about it is just about perfect.
LOVE the blue! Please don't discontinue the GS!
Awesome! Congrats man!
I love this car. It’s so much more appealing to me than the current M5! Seems more visceral and involving. Congrats on getting married! I love watching you do videos on roads local to me!
New M5 is really supercar fast though, but it doesn't have such sound
@@luka_abh It's called turbo-lag and speaker sound.
Far more reliable than M5 and E63
Yudha Bagaskara who cares. I’ll take e63 any day of the week over the GSF
Nick Yusenko have fun spending money on repairs. I will admit the German cars are more fun to drive
@@rushintofishin81 they dont have any problems until they hit 100.000-120.000 km or 6-7 years anyway. by then most people change their cars. my mom has a 2016 1 series and didnt have any problems so far as of may 2020. i dont understand why people sht on german cars. however here in europe they are made in germany, those in the united states are made in the us or other places so that must be why.
Efe Sezer no wonder why they don’t break down in Europe. Because they are German made! In the u.s they are made in Mexico
Efe Sezer 6-7 years without problems? Ok 😂. A Lexus goes to 500k miles with minor issues
Damn, this is a beast. I own 2015 GS350, RWD, and I can tell you it a beauty and a beast, upshifts and downshifts are smooth
What a beautiful car! I would love a Lexus vehicle in the future! Obviously one has to work towards owning one but I’ll get to that point!
I love the blue interior
that. sounds. amazing. and the interior is awesome. might be a new dream car.
Always loved the GS, seriously hoping the next gen GS design inside and out blows me away....
Dam that's a nice car I like that blue and black interior
When I drove an RC F a few weeks ago, I was surprised how comfortable it was. I want to say the ride quality was as good if not better than my IS 300 F Sport. I think the GS would be higher on my list if they were cheaper - if you don't need four doors, it's hard to justify over the RC F, even used. But it's a fantastic car, and if I had the money burning a hole in my pocket, I'd definitely get the GS F over the RC F just for that added practicality.
Returning to this video to say I just bought an IS 500 this past weekend. It's the GS F that isn't an F. Sort of. But that's part of what I like about it. It's still very daily-able but gives me that V-8 power. It is so freakin' good, and I am in love.
@@ARentz07 amazing car, congrats and wish you lots of happy miles. I couldn't afford the is500 so I got a GSF and couldn't be happier
Awesome! I had a 2013 GS 350 Luxury Model. I gave it to my oldest for her first car - and I miss it. It wasn’t this car though. A beauty and a beast!
Aw thanks God you did the review about it , I really love this car and ask you to do it like 2 or 3 month ago , so her we go 🔥💖 thanks brother great review and beautiful monster 🔥👌
Congratulations on your wedding bro love your car reviews 😀😀😀😀😀😀
That car looks and sounds great! 👍🏾
Happy marriage, and thanks for all your videos ! I always enjoy them.
I have a 2016 Lexus RCF carbon fiber/TVD edition in orange (Molten Pearl). Best car ever for me. Had it for two years and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. High-revving N/A V8, almost 500 HP (with full exhaust), small size, great handling, awesome luxury and reliability. Regarding refinement, the GSF has softer suspsneion/chassis setup (according to the chief engineer) than the RCF and it has a bit more sound insulation for more refinement and better cruising.
The inside is 🔥
10:15 when i thought it was the cops behind you and you barely pressed it and left him in the dust
I think lexus is finally there. Nice car wow and a v8 too (that blue is so nice)
that interior..WOAH. See you at the wedding!
Very beautiful car!! And congrats on the wedding
This is definitely my goal vehicle. This or IS500. But The RC-F is also definitely on my list.
Great video, would definitely consider one of these after my ISF.
You should've tried sport+ mode. It stiffens the suspension even more and locks the converter up a lot more to the point where at some occasions it behaves like a manual car to the point that is shakes back and forth at lower speeds.
Amazing car, i'm glad i have opportunity to test this Lexus ;)
Awesome Sedan, beast with horse power a sleeper and the reliability is out standing.
Congratulations on getting married!!! I wish you both the best!
recommended my parents to get the is200t back in 2017. they got the car for 32k, it was a base model and honestly it was a lot of car for the money. they trickle down a lot of the interior features and they're really happy with the car. hopefully the turbo doesn't cause any headaches but the car has been treating my parents really well. it's the most practical luxury daily in terms of reliability and resale value. gets my pick over the 328 for practicality.
I picked up one of these about three months ago and love it. It took me a little while to get used to that matte paint, but now I also love that too. It also took me a while to get used to how to drive this car on the edge, but man it's like a glove now, I feel I'm part of the car and it responds so nice, I never get tired of driving off in this thing. It is the perfect combination of speed, handling and comfort. I'm not 13 anymore so I con't care about the stats of German cars that tend to start breaking down soon after buying them until you sell them, this car is gas, oil and tires for years, nothing to worry about so going on a long trip is no worries at all.
How is the sound insulation from tire and road noise?
@@hassansmw5634fantastic luxury sound dampening.
Damn, look at that interior, thought the red interior was sick. That is one of my attainable dream cars. Always loved the GS, but that car is beautiful, only thing is probably really hard to find
Praying to get one soon!!!
That GSF is stunning
I have a 2017. It’s a great fun daily!
Beautiful I love it, love the blue interior
such a different interior man I love it.
damn this thing is badass
What a beast of a machine!! But the camera trying to focus on the nav nearly caused me to have an epileptic episode!
Interior looks awesome you don't have to hold back on how much you like it. Your opinion is your opinion. Anybody that doesn't like it doesn't have to buy the damn thing.
If you double click the downshift paddle, you can skip a gear. Really helpful tip for this 8 speed and it's close ratios. Sometimes the ratios are so close, you need to skip a gear to get the RPM you want.
best sounding W8... insane sound!
Congrats on getting married! :D
You won my heart by using turn signals
You had a chance to race that rs and turned right ! :(
That blue is gorgeous!
The downshifts are crazy!! Love the GS.
You can tell just by looking at that interior, everything about Lexus is so much higher quality than the competition.
That's a good one. It may be one to keep low miles in ones garage only to drive on Sunday.
This is love ❤️💪🏾
the best lexus sport sedan ever ..
Gorgeous!
That 5.0L V8 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I bought mine after watching this video.
How is it treating you so far? I wanna go for it but kinda of afraid of it maintenance cost!
@@lil-xx7te so far so good! I've put less than 1k miles on it. I bought a higher miles car around 75k to bring the vehicle cost down and I am a mechanic so I'm not too worried about doing any repairs or maintenance myself. It's a luxury vehicle so expect expensive maintenance and repairs if they are needed. For instance the engine holds 10 quarts of oil, that means your oil changes are going to use twice as much oil as a typical car, and needs to be changed every 5k miles.
I never like the mate paint and too much blue interior. A regular red GSF would do just fine for me.
@@CyFi6how much did you pay for it, I’m looking at a higher mile 2016 , 77k miles but not sure to go for it or not
My 2017 GS F has been awesome. No problems whatsoever. Love this car, best I have ever owned. The dealer experience has been great and maintenance has been reasonable.
Man not even the BMW M8 has a 5.0L V8.
Much respect to Lexus and American cars for continuing to build massive engines for us car lovers.
Hi Topher! Could you please review Macan S/turbo? I really enjoy your videos and wanted to see what you opinion is on that car. Lexus GS F is supper nice.
Love the interior!!!
Chris congrats on your marriage coming very soon. I wish you love, excitement and happiness!!!
I have an ISF and I couldn’t agree more on the practicality of the GSF. Unless you have rear passengers that are the size of ants, the rear seats are almost useless. I hope one day I can park the GSF next to my ISF
I want an ISF next to my RCF 😂
I own a 2013 gs 350. Love it
the indigo interior is so beautiful
Make it AWD and put apple carplay, also this car will go down like 50k in 5+ years but will still hold its value for the most part in reliability
This is one of the only new cars that I want.
I want this car soo bad! That v8 engine sound oh my goshh i can't get enough of it lol
Gorgeous car!
gorgeous car
what camera are you using? I want one for daily commute instead of attaching one to my lexus
Nice POV video
GSF is the best! Such an under rated car.
just the blue, makes me want to buy this right now
Really, really beautiful car.
It's kinda weird those plastics under the headlights though. Seems they had planted to put different ones there?
Interior & exterior color good!
i like how they vacuumed the carpets
GSF -- 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V-8 engine producing 467 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends its power to the rear wheels.
LS -- 3.5-liter twin-turbo DOHC 24-valve V-6/416 @ 6,000 rpm, 442 lb-ft @ 1,600-4,800 rpm
Beautiful car I love Lexus I have since I started as a technician with them back in 2004 working on them is a pleasure driving them is a pleasure hell I had a 2002 Sport Design which was a special edition back then is a gunmetal gray special reflective rims now I have a 2005 gs430 I can't say enough good things about these cars and that car you're driving just absolutely amazing I can imagine the only problem is even with a hundred thousand miles it's going to be extremely expensive to own that car LOL but oh boy would it be worth it
Dam looks amazing
Wish I had this car and also the GSF got active dampers in 2017 and on
Congrats
nice vid, nice to see you driving around in my hood
